Join the new world

First of all this is a personal opinion and is not the official stance of anyone. This is how I currently view the elections and what I think is a summary of the candidates with potential reasons of why I might vote for someone or not.

So here is the list of candidates that we will be available to vote for CP or at least this was the list of candidates at the time of posting:

MrConway– The Labour Party

MUFC992 – Eire Aonair, Future of Ireland, Equilibrium

moomoohead– Irish Freedom Party

I will go through the list starting from the top and working my way down giving out deeds done and a personal view of each candidate from my personal opinion and so some of these points may contradict how each of the candidates are viewed by other citizens.

Starting with MrConway:


MrConway has been known by many names including MrConwayTwitty. He currently uses the IRC name Conway and is an active member of the eIrish community. I respect Conway for the work he has previously done to help new citizens including writing a fairly large amount of tutorials and guides and also going as far as creating a website in an attempt to help them.
He has a notable affiliation with the ICA (Irish Citizens Army) which as the older citizens among us might know them as one of the more “interesting” factions of people in eIreland and MrConway has also been known to put out proposals without discussing them with congress first and with the reason he did it was for the “lulz” or so I was lead to believe. He has also been known to create multies even though they were used to check how new citizens were treated or so I am lead to believe.

I believe this to be a solid team, even if the CP proves to be incompetent (as he hasn’t held this post before he is untried and so his capabilities are unknown or so I believe this to be the case) then the cabinet would still make his country president term successful or at least that is what I believe. The only potential weakness that I foresee happening in this cabinet is in the MoFA where ChewChewShoe’s way of diplomacy would make joining a certain alliance, if we were so inclined and if they actually do want us in their alliance, difficult.

Current Goals:
I’m a lazy b*st*rd so I am just going to extrapolate what I believe each of the candidates goals from the articles they have written without interviewing any of them.

MrConway will try to improve eIreland’s finances by bring back the monetary genius Sweet Drinker who has shown himself to be competent in the past.
Knowing the ICA they will also trying to initiate a war with some country which would be a source of entertainment, a source of true patriot medals and a potential wipe but it may liven up our country again.

Moving onto MUFC992:

MUFC992 has been known by other names, MUFC92, Shield72 and The_Psycho. He is very active on the IRC and uses the nicknames The_Psycho or MUFC92. MUFC992 has been known to great work for eIreland and has been known to tend to focus a lot on the military side of the game. He has been the commander of the Irish Army and has organised it well. MUFC992 has also been the country president of eIreland twice before and has lead fairly successful terms. I believe him to be very passionate about eIreland and he has had experience in other countries like eCroatia.
MUFC992 was previously affiliated with the ICA, (probably better known as the kunts now) but after some circumstances found himself disagreeing with their methods and is one of the main people who oppose them.
He was the founder of the Irish Progressive party which then changed its name to Saoirse and went onto becoming one of eIreland’s top parties but eventually declined and merged with Eire Aonair.

His currently named cabinet:
Vice President: Bhane
Ministry of Defence: Seanan, Marinko Margarin, Duarte Goncalves
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: columbia, Raven Anarcho

Ministry of Immigrations: Raven Anarcho, Uljanov, Ian E CoIeman
Ministry of Education: Ian E Coleman
Ministry of New Citizens: Irasian
Ministry of Community: Winston Hope Smith
State Prior: Viktor Kurgan

I believe this to be a stable cabinet with no real weakness, all of them have proven competent in the past and will probably do so in the future with the possible exception of me as I can’t really give a decent opinion of myself.

Current Goals:
MUFC992 believes that we have gone too long with an alliance and is going to run a referendum about which alliance we should give priority to whether it is preferred to join ASGARD (pro-EDEN) or CoT (a major alliance which opposes EDEN at the moment.)

A reorganisation of the eIrish military into 3 parts:
eIrish Boot Camp: Division 1
Regular troops
Fianna Eireann: Filled with citizens that are active and are required to fight everyday

An attempt to reduce costs by organising better but he will mostly rely on his ministers for the finance part of his run.

Create a National Unity Council in an attempt to solve internal matters that eIreland currently has.

Start a training war so that eIrish citizens might get true patriot medals and use it as a potential solution to move goods around in our market.

Next is moomoohea😛

Moomoohead is probably one of the citizens I respect most in this game. Even though I was the one who changed the name of a previously existing military unit to the eIrish Boot Camp it was moomoohead and Anthony Colby that initially came up with the idea. Moomoohead has also been one of the main supporters of the Boot Camp from the beginning and was the one who gathered all the initial suppliers of Boot Camp and it would probably have failed within the first week if it wasn’t for all the effort he has given it.
He has previously been CP twice but I don’t think I was around to experience either of them though I did rejoin this game at the end of one of his terms when we had to pick up all the pieces and I was only able find out what happened from other citizens so I can’t really form an opinion about this myself.
He affiliates himself with Libertad I believe which goes around the world fighting for countries that request aid to help free their original regions which can sometimes lead to a conflict with eIrish interests.

It is a short list but has many notable names in it, all of them old faces but I believe them to be reliable.

Current Goals:
I believe he is going to focus on getting eIreland a babyboom which will give eIreland many needed players.

My opinion:
Personally I am not sure who to vote for, I have to admit that having MrConway as a CP might be interesting as having the ICA in charge tends to lead to interesting times but it may be hard to agree with the methods of how they operate.

MUFC992 would probably lead us through a quiet month for the first few weeks until he can get a training war organised as well as the referendum and if we decide to join an alliance it will get a bit more hectic around here as we have eUK on one side (TWO) , Canada (Asgard) and the USA (Brazil + USA, I think, I haven’t really been keeping track of alliances) so depending on which alliance we join would lead to some interesting conflicting interests.

Moomoohead might be a good choice if he does manage to get his babyboom going but I am a bit reluctant to vote for him as if he does manage to get a babyboom going it will mean one hell of a lot of work for me. *mumbles* finding suppliers.... tutorials... mentors.... funding... alcohol...*mumbles*

As seen above in the 4 paragraphs above I would probably vote for MUFC992 as he has some interesting goals and if he succeeds it could get us into the main conflict between CoT/TWO and EDEN would I believe would keep us entertained for months.

Also join Eire Aonair, (I told Ian I would show a bit of support for the party and this is it 😉)
