Presidential Elections: Interviews with Tonie and Jordic

Dear Readers,

Tomorrow it is that time of the year again, the presidential elections. This time it's a race between Jordic and NoTie112 (aka Tonie). As every month, I've tried to remember myself to interview the candidates, I succeeded this time, and I'm happy to say both candidates have responded to my questions.

~NoTie112 (Tonie) - Revolution et Libertas (ReL)~

1. Why do you want to be the next President of the eNetherlands?
I want to be the next president, because I believe the time is right. My predecessors have set an excellent fundamental to continue building on. However, I do feel many people are worried due to miscommunication and enmity. I believe I can soother that.

2. What do you think of the current situation in the eNetherlands?
Our situation is currently bad, as we're fighting off the invasion of Germany. However, interesting opportunities have arisen which may make our situation better than ever before.

3. Are there any key problem(s) where the eNetherlands is struggling with?
Miscommunication between Congress & The Government (and less specific between the different parties).

4. How do you want to solve these key problem(s)?
I will make every effort to keep in touch with Congress and the opposition, in order to ensure a healthy and stable governmental term.

5. What's your opinion about the achievements of our current President?
Kordak has progressed our country, but essentially the invasion of Germany wrecked the entire governmental term.

6. What would you have done differently?
I would have handled the German invasion different and more boldly, and I would have been more '''political'' with the opposition and Congress.

7. Have you got anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?

~Jordic - Democratisch Nederland (DemNL)~

1. Why do you want to be the next President of the eNetherlands?
As i said in my first article, I've been around in the NL for a long. Almost every month involved in politics and I think it's a good moment to try to help even more from a leading position and try to help as much as possible our small country, that's let's be honest, is in a difficult situation.

2. What do you think of the current situation in the eNetherlands?
We are not in a good situation, one of our neighbours have attacked us and we will have to fight as harder as possible to try to get rid of it. We will need a lot of help, diplomatic skills and effort from everyone to be free again.

3. Are there any key problem(s) where the eNetherlands is struggling with?
Apart of the obvious problem of being almost wiped and in a war, some people in our country is trying to change our international point of view, which is not bad itself, what is bad is that they are trying to do it without consulting anyone, and as far as I know, a lot of people doesn't like this idea.

4. How do you want to solve these key problem(s)?
The only way to solve the war problem is with a lot of diplomacy, because as you may have noticed, we don't have an amazing firepower, so, the keys are, hard work, attitude and diplomacy, also with the "enemy", but before having a good deal, we have to demonstrate them and ourselves that we are able to fight hard and be a real asspain.

5. What's your opinion about the achievements of our current President?
If you would have asked me this a week ago, i would have said that he was doing quite a good job, gathering support and talking with different countries, what I really didn't like is that Nebula, Australia issue, it's not that I'm against them, but he did it without asking anyone, and it seems that even the MoFA didn't know what was going on.

6. What would you have done differently?
I'm a big fan of being transparent, and i like the whole community taking part in the most important decisions, also I would have never done that kind of things without telling it to my team, this is quite suspicious.

7. Have you got anything left to say to the citizens of the eNetherlands?
Nothing really special, I'm glad that there will be two great candidates running this month, I think Tonie is a trusted guy who knows stuff, I don't know a lot about the other guy, but some chicks told me he is very handsome.
