President Impeachment...did he deserve it?

I won't tell you how old I am in real life, but let's just put it this way. I had to lie when it asked for my birthday to get into the game and create an account. So normally I'm supposed go to sleep at 9:45, 1😇
0 on weekends. So here I was, playing Minecraft, when I decided to take a look at my eRepublik.

Anyways, I entered my account and found 6 alerts. 2 of them were a motion to impeach Bruce Lightninghands by someone else. The other 4 were some dumb proposals from our president. To leave LETO, declare war on Ireland, etc. I voted no to all of them (except for the President Impeachment ones, those I voted yes) and decided to check the news for clues for what happened.
There, I found an article saying that Bruce had quit and left us a bunch of rogue proposals. It also said that the rules of the Sussudio Cup had changed, and that only the winner and runner-up will recieve money. That was a bummer, because when I joined the cup, I was almost bankrupt and so basically, I joined it for the money.
Bruce did good things at the start, but near the end he slid downhill. His term lasted less than 10 days.

Eh, just on a casual level, I don't like knowing that the leader of my team in a game will freak out about something pretty trivial. The whole thing probably could have been diffused with a couple PM's, but Bruce and DMV3 had to go all public outrage about it.

Did Bruce deserve the impeachment? Perhaps he did. But the biggest question at this time is. Where are the fearless leaders? Seems like it is more important to cherish the Bruce meltdown victory than stepping up to the plate and lead the war with eUK.
I would love to lead us...but I'm not even a teenager and I've been on eRep for only 3 months...better not put the country in my hands.

I think that everybody can find good and bad points about his presidential term (8days?).But the answer is yes he deserved to be impeached.

At the end Bruce didn't want any help. When the rogue proposals started he needed to go.
CP is a big job. There may be a day in the future where Bruce can come back and use the experiences gained to lead again but for now its time to go in a different direction.
Canada has a very good military structure and I hope our new prez leans heavily on druid and the rest of the crew to lead the way.
