Today, Petz held a press conference to announce that he will run for re-election to congress. The 1-term congressman has been active in congress and led the push for an increase in important tax on grain. When asked about his reasons for seeking a second term, Petz stated, "Congress has taken on several key issues this term including the economy and national security. In addition to working in Congress, Petz has operated two companies. After rescuing a failing grain company, Petz and his organization Petz Inc., recently started a new food company in Manitoba, bringing new jobs into the province.
