After eAustralia is compensated for all the stealing we can maybe think about, but seriously there is no way that we can have a dialogue with these cheats. Remember when XG had "peace talks", I certainly do.

Personally, all this fighting and war with indonesia has made the game more fun. I played a while back, got bored and left. When I returned there was shit going down. It was great and till today I remain active. So lets keep fighting... for my sanity.

Okay, please enlighten me to how, and why, Australia must be compensated? We have no force to back it up. The past is the past, we need to look forward.

Australia: We want compensation for you past evil ways, Indonesia!
Indonesia: *Invades Australia, takes it over in 3 hours*

If the attitudes of most Australians are like that, then we'll never have peace for sure 😛. The past is the past, we just want to have a better future with all the chaos going on around the eWorld. Its probably also why we gave peace a chance, when a lot of citizens wanted you guys wiped out and without a president. Keep calling us cheats, Multinesia, cows, etc. and a lot of us are going to see it, and think, "why the hell did we let these guys get off so easily while they're still on their high horse?"
Its a new eWorld. We should all give peace and negotiations a chance. Gotta start from somewhere, then maybe we could see about some compensations for lost territories?.

There was once a Vichy. Vichy was a French government during WW2. After lost war they gave 2/3 of the France to Germans and they rule on the other 1/3 as German's subjects and collaborationists. They was treated by their nation as a traitors and finally - when France was free - they was judged as nation's enemies.
Peace treaty between two nations should by aranged only when those nations respects eachother national borders. When one of those nation takes control over other nation's regions it's not a peace; it's occupation and rule of strongest. You should fight for your freedom or request payment for Indonesian lend of your regions. Especially when they can't take your lives, money, companies. Fighting is attractive to play. Fighting is iritating to occupants. When you're fighting, they can't expect what future brings and they won't fully exploit your original regions. This is - in my opinion - a reason to bring them hell.

I agree with the desire to have peace, but how am I (we) supposed to forget what was done to us (eTrueBlueAussies by them (eIndos) ?

Well, if we rate our diplomatic relations from -50 - +50 , right before the ceasefire we were at -50, Now that we want to start fresh, we're putting it at -10 - 0. You can't really demand much at the early stages of a cease fire, once relations gradually build up, and we have absolute peace, then maybe we can start negotiations on what to do with the conquered regions. We all have to wait till the air clears first as theres still a lot of distrust and hate between the two countries. We first have to fix that.

@Guagature: Well, we can't just suddenly give back regions. The backlash from citizens would be terrible at this early stages. If you guys conquered our regions for resources, doubt you'd just give it back and say "oh well." Our economy would be ruined too since its based on the bonuses we're getting.

We will work towards peace but it will be a slow process. I don't think many actually expect eIndo to give us back the regions they took fair and square. Its a little naive to even consider demanding that at this early stage.

However there will be a long term picture that includes us regaining our states but it must be eIndo that is compensated for it, not us.

This is currently where eAus stands. Yes agree that there would be a backlash from citizens but you would have seen it also from eAus citizens previously and it is damageable for players to be put in that situation. Maybe I should have been clearer and said "more" regions would be a better step to reconciling.

As Larni says baby steps towards peace.
