Paul4Libs [PP4PP]

Day 1,206, 13:21 Published in USA USA by Paul Proteus

This edition of Good-Bye Blue Monday is Campaign Edition!

This is a program, keep your eye out for a cabinet which will be published shortly

This following month I want to try my hand at leading the Libs, and I'll tell you why. Since I came to the eUS with promises of a staunch lack of cats and roads paved with cheese, I have been in the Libertarian Party. It has been a great sense of community and has helped me enjoy my time in the eUS. That being said, in my short time here I have the seen the Libs encounter a number of ups and downs, and after Iasov's banning the party experienced a lack of drive and purpose. Our previous party president DanielCD has done a great job helping rebuild the Libs and create a sense of organization and structure while keeping the core values that keep the Libs unique, something I am keen on continuing. Next month I plan to implement a number of programs to help keep the Libs busy and relevant.

And my cabinet will be published later, but I would like to announce my VPP, Marxus. He is great and will help me bring the Libs a winning month

Baby Back Libs [PP4PP]

Ever since the "revolution" the Libs have been slipping, and as DanielCD pointed out in his recent articles, not enough Libs are involved. That is why I think it's great that Daniel conveniently began to set up a system of "Blocs" within the party with a leader to help keep people involved and interested. Retention and new faces, sounds like a win win to me. I plan on kicking that program into full gear. I also hate to see the libs falling into monotony and stagnancy, we need the Libs to be more of a party in both senses of the term, we need to build a stronger community, which is why I suggest reviving:

The Libertarian Writers Guil😛

Yeah, CRoy started it, and ever since it's just been sitting there...Not unlike that old sweater your mother gave you that is so festive and great for the holidays. Anyway, The Lib Writers guild has potential to be a great way to encourage writing in the Libs and a way to have fun. Which is why I am putting someone in charge who will actually do something and not just watch it slowly die. Jelly9473 will fit some time in to get the Guild to its full potential. Hopefully we can expand this program and get some good Lib writers more well known and recognized. Also, the Lib writers guild will no longer just be a sig bar, there will be weekly prizes given to the best articles and the Libertarian bulletin will publish some of the winners to bring them some more publicity.

Other Parties Exist?!?! [PP4PP]

Yes, other parties do exist, and I think good relations are vital. Especially with the current top 5 partys view of INCI, and talk of working together, it is imperative we maintain good relations. This is why I will be assigning a "party" ambassador to each of the other top 5 partys. They will make sure we are always square on whats going on and help avoid any costly miscommunication.

You got Questions, I've got Answers [PP4PP]

Another idea that DanielCD mentioned but I have yet to see meet fruition. In the past, the Libs have been called many things including "elitist". Well, this is not the party I know, I know a party that brings in all the active members and lets them contribute. Still, this is a great way for more Libs to feel involved. I will be implementing a form for Libs to ask questions that I will answer every week in the Libertarian Bulletin throughout my term. which brings me on to:

The Biased Lib(ertarian)eral Media [PP4PP]

In keeping the public informed, even the best of our previous presidents have been weak. This is because this is too big for one busy guy. I will set up a strong media department, with a head who will make sure articles get published weekly. I still like DCD's idea of rotating authors, but this will be more organized, with a specific order in mind, not just who is on IRC at the time. These weekly articles will include articles from the Lib writers guilds, and winners of any said competitions, answers from the Lib Q and A and general going on from within the Libs that are published anyway (ie. Primary Results, Articles about Congress)

So on the 15th, Consider a Paul Proteus Party Presidency,

Let me Liberate you

Also, on another note, I look sexy:
