THE PAST
NEGOTIATIONS
Short while after the TO of Italian congress, negotiations with PEACE representatives started. Croatia stated its "demands": Give us back our HRK, we will leave Italian congress. Let me remind you, approximately 500 000 HRK was issued and donated (and more than 100 GOLD in other currencies) to PEACE orgs during the TO in Croatia.
The first meeting was optimistic for us. High representatives from Hungary came. We started talking about the solutions for this situation. Some threats were exchanged, but nothing serious. Since some of the HRK was already spent, we agreed to take back the remaining HRK and the rest compensated in GOLD for a monetary course of 0,02 GOLD for 1 HRK. Since no one knew how much HRK was left, we agreed to meet again tomorow, after the situation with the HRK was assessed.
Tomorow we met again. 2 high Hungarian officials were present on the meeting, among others. No preparations from the PEACE side was made for this meeting, no amount of HRK. Nothing. The meeting ended in 5 minutes. This was a clear sign that PEACE wont negotiate with us. They didnt even bother to contact the Serbians, who had (and stil has) almost all of the remaining HRK. Italy wad denyed help, AGAIN

THE PRESENT
FOOD IMPORT TAX
Reading the Italian media, I came to conclusion that food prices are way too high. There are many complaints on food price. This is due to high import tax, so no foreign companies are present on the market. The local food producers use this situation and raise the food price. They make extra profit exploiting the situation. The only looser is the average citizen.Cheapest food in erep is 0,015 GOLD, while in Italy it is 0,032 GOLD. A import tax change is proposed: LINK . Hopefully foreign companies will come to the Italian market, and regulate the food price, on the benefit of the citizen.
IMPEACHEMENT
The President of Italy, darden, was impeached. This was the step we had to take. We had an agreement with darden. He won't stop us from issuing and donating money, we won't mess with the taxes. The agrrement was honored for a short period. Hungary put too much pressure on the president, and he started do block our donations with Buy Construction laws. The first warning was the Hospital law. The message was not recieved, so we were forced to impeach him.

THE FUTURE
You heard all about it. We didnt mess with your taxes. At least not in a negative way. We didnt destroy your monetary market, ITL has its old value. Country is going in the right direction, trading is normal, just as it was before the TO. This situation will go on as long as Italy cooperates with us. We have no interest in destroying your beautiful country.

ITL was valued 0.026 before the TO, now it is 0.020. In the next presidential elections we will see how much your word is reliable. If you will try a presidential take over, you know what is going to happen to Croatia... War, until the end.
And again... Hungary abandoned us twice (during and after the TO) and their behaviour is to blame... but you took advantage of it, stealing money from us. You are guilty. So don't expect too much thanks... just hope you won't receive... TANKS!

DONATION CAMPAIGN "GOLD FOR ITL"
We are starting with a donation campaign for issuing ITL. As you may know, Hungarians and Serbs refused to give our money back, taken during tleir TO in Croatia. That was the only thing we wanted. After we weuld recieve our currency, we would leave Italian congress. They chose not to help their allies (for the second time).
We are forced to take that money from the Italian state. For money issuing we need GOLD. Every invested gold will pay it self back 3 times, for a longer period of time. We dont want to destroy Italian economy, we dont want to ruin their monetary market. We only want to restor our losses.
If you can, and you are willing to donate gold, do it to our official TO organisation: Hrvatski TO centar. After the end of operation Ferragosto, all currency will be donated to Croatian National Bank.
You dont need to donate big amounts. 1 GOLD per citizen is enough
DONATED GOLD WILL NOT BE GIVEN BACK. It will be used to revive Croatian economy
