Hello eIreland.
It is with great fortitude I speak to you today.
We attacked Poland.
This has happened before, and it was considered an act of ballsy-ness that made us known around the world. Glove wrote an article about it, but I can't find it. Anyway, we attacked Polish occupied Vermont and New Hampshire. We successfully won the campaigns, then gave them back to America.
This time, we attacked them to help our friends in Canada and Portugal from being occupied. We attacked and, well, drew Poland's fire. In a big way. 3 battles into the campaign, they successfully repulsed our first attack and took two of our regions. Some of us, some 'eIrish' are angered by the wipe that's just over the horizon. I say it doesn't matter. eIreland will still be a country known for helping out it's friends, no matter what the cost.
One more thing. Poland has been reported as saying 'we're gonna teach Ireland a lesson' ---- Poland, do me a favor. Look at how many citizens you have. Now look at Ireland's. We are smaller than you. What lesson will you be teaching us? That you are bigger than us? We already knew that.
I leave you with a final thought. We may be in a situation that will see us wiped. But friends and allies are more important than borders and countries. We can regain our regions in time. It takes a lot more time to regain friends.

Ashamed to say our lovely politicians seem to forget this more often than not in their machinations.
the lesson is: dont try to kick a lion unless you are absolutely sure he is dead. you knew you are much smaller and you attacked us without preparing your and your allies forces. the result is like it is: you wanted it - you got it. now you have to think about next move. you can fight upraising, but history of eGermany and eFrance gives you not much hope or... you can start peace talks. like eGermany. like eFrance. the fact is we dont need your lands, so the choice is hard way or easier way...
Or we could learn to speak Polish.
What's the fun of picking somebody smaller than your own size.. of course Poland will win...
Instead of turning 'eastward' from Canada.. they should turn 'southward' and face the big-bad-USA..
Picking somebody bigger than their own size.. That IS FUN!!

The eIrish are not like the eGermans or eFrench. We historically do not deal in peace deals, we think with our fists. As you say " fact is we dont need your lands" all we have to do is be annoying enough so that you no longer want to occupy us. It may take a while but we will win.
Appleman - annoying? we had whole eFrance and eGermany and it was not a problem to keep it. just more free fights for us. now its even easier, cos eFrance and eGermany have pacts with us and just helping allies doesnt give true patriot damage. with our pact with eUSA you cant count for their assault and eCanada has the same problem what you... there is no shame in peace talks if both sides respect each other. and as i remember Ireland looks like it looks thx to peace talks,

s1lv3rk1d - there was a time ALL eIrelands regions were attacked the same time, when you had no MPP, and there was just one country which made first big "air bridge" for help you. thx to cooperation of eIrish and ePolish commanders you lost only 1 region and only for 1 day. i was one of thousands ePolish soldiers who bought a ticket and fought here. now we are enemies, but as i can see memory and respect is something you really need to learn.

Guys Batreh is actually a cool Pole. He's been in our media before as an ally and a friend. I wouldn't dismiss what he says so easily.
tbh I can't argue with much of what he is saying. If you're gonna attack Poland then you need to have everything lined up and organised before you push that button, and the Govt so clearly was not ready for this. Getting ourselves wiped isn't going to help allies. It may make us a ballsy ally, but it won't make us a clever one.

Having said all that though, we'll free ourselves eventually. We have nothing that Poland need so they'll let us go if we become too much of a pain in the ass, which ofc is the one thing we excel at.
Well some of you seem to forget who started the war... It is not big bad Poland that attacked you . ...
You are the one who started this so please don't turn things around now.

That´s correct uz didn´t start this war but uz attacked our friends and allies and forced them into peace deals...
And our attack was just a sign of loyalty to our allies!
We get wiped for that...ok who cares it´s just a game right? ; )
eEire is about fun in this game and that´s what we have fun and friends who admit what we are doing even if we are a little unprepared : D
So even if we don´t stand a chance against Poland you must admit we are freaking cool dudes lol

I remember the respect and cooperation between us and the Polish in the past, twas good times. I also remember it originated from us fighting like beasts, and not ass licking. We'll meet our friends in Poland on the field.

btw - as not many of you can read Polish press, let me tell we had NO ONE article which decreased your e-country or even one single comment which was insulting you... but what i wanted to say - dont do the same errors twice. you want RW - ok, but count damage first. during our RW i never got division orders to fight RW and still we got plenty volunteers for fighting there. just this time prepare better for your acting, whatever you will do

The Polish and Irish are great friends in RL. This little tiff isn't going to change anything. But the bottom line remains the same. Any empire inflicts its terms on a conquered people. Poland is an Empire and how they remain one is through peace treaties that reduce RW's as much as possible. So with the border secured they move on to the next victim. I will never vote for a peace treaty with Poland that does not involve getting all our territories back.
And then we'll NE them again if they're still playing this Empire game again. We are not Vichy France.
If we're going to be a decoy, I guess we might as well go with EDEN since we still seem to be throwing most of our eggs into that basket.
Given recent talk of other alliances, just an observation.

Ah just sign peace with them if they give us regions back and that's all. They don't need our bonuses anyway. Also both candidates would agree with those conditions.
heh... eSaxonny is a critical point, its true. but who will go there? eFrance, eGermany and eUSA have pacts with us and will not support any attack against us... so? how much influence can you do there? and how much influence can do just PCA with supplies from our gov? you are not the first who think about it, but... noone did it yet...
