Party animal #4

Look, I’m going to be honest with you. When I left TUP to cruise around the eUK’s political landscape

Yeah baby!
Well frankly it hasn’t been. In fact, for most of the time, it’s been bloody miserable. Where the hell is the party at?
A rare glimpse into life in DC
My next stop was supposed to be the British Community party - 11th position, 3 members - and I wasn’t expecting anything to change. But having failed to notice that BC weren’t on the first page of the joinable parties list, I completely missed them and found myself in Every Single One instead. And finally, finally, I found some action.
First of all, they were active (some of them at least). I hadn’t seen activity on a party shoutbox since I left TUP, and frankly I’d almost forgotten what it was like. The previous parties I’d joined have been so bereft of life that I’d stopped bothering to check the shoutbox. Nothing more than an occasional glance, followed by a familiar sinking feeling, was required.
But not in ESO.
Pretend that’s not Facebook on the screen
And it wasn’t just quantity, there was quality too. Admittedly, quite a lot of it was links to Sir Jimmy Savile’s ongoing make-your-own-storybook-just-like-those-old-Turn-To-Page-73-To-Verbally-Abuse-The-Dragon things you used to get (linky linky), but that’s not the point. S*it was going down!
But as good as it was, really we were just killing time until CheetahCurtis arrived.
The ESO Awesom-o-meter is about to go off the scale
Indeed, things got so cool … too cool really … that we had to set up a special CheetahCurtis day in order to cope.
I stayed in ESO far longer than my mission dictates. Elections came and went, but they weren’t able to puncture the lulz with their mundane reality. Apparently a new banana-based administration took over the world, but none of us noticed. Who cares what’s going on elsewhere in the eUK? Nobody in ESO comes close to being dull enough to bother with such trifling affairs.
Gratuitous trifle shot
Are ESO cool? Yes. Are you bored of the run-of-the-mill political tedium offered by standard parties and want to join something a bit different? Yes. Would it be mental, given those circumstances, to join any party other than ESO? Yes.
And so, it is with a very heavy heart I find myself having to drag my sorry arse out of ESO and on to the next party.
Luckily, the next party up the list are The Real Spamicans, who are renowned - legendary in fact - for being where the lulz are at. Unluckily I’ve just noticed that British Community have somehow made it into 10th spot, so as an honest and conscientious chronicler I have to join them instead.
So tune in next time (which may well be tomorrow unless BC turn out to be surprisingly cool) to see how I get on.

Brilliant again Mike
The problem as I see it is that you've wasted all this time visiting parties that are utterly devoid of any activity. Haven't even hit the top 5 or spamicans yet..
in terms of you saying parties are dull
Cheer up.
