OK, so I screwed up...
wigibob
Firstly I would like to say, I did ignore the PM about 'speaker of the house'
The reason for this is that I have received quite a few bits of spam on a daily basis while I have been PP and I deleted it not knowing what it was, and for this I truly apologize. I would like to remind you this is my first term as PP and I will learn form my mistakes
But all I can say for now is that I am sorry that I have let you down and I will be even more committed and will to make it up to you later in the month (CP elections sound good?)
Keep going, stay strong New Era

Well no the speaker should have made sure they got hold of you , if not the VP of New Era who is sambo and is online all the time !
no, he screwed up.
Can get worse than Fritz of 1V, we emigrated to Aus!
i yet again tip my hat to you wigi
Great article!!!.Voted, subed and shouted!!!.Maybe I could run for CP!!.Please tell mewhat are you thinking?.Please let me to be candidate for CP in front of New Era!!.Certainly I wont let you down all in New Era!!.
Er no offence... but I think we should run a more experienced player for CP. People like you and I are not experienced enough for the position.
also someone who speaks English.
It takes a man to admit his mistakes and not cry "conspiracy theory" any time something doesn't go your way - respect to you wigibob. o7
voted.
Don't worry about it, wigibob
We all make mistakes...I'm sure I could have helped you out a little more with a follow up message or pm'd Vice Party Presidents (as Don suggests) if I had thought although that makes me sound like was an experienced hand at Speaker of the House. (It was my first time in the role of Speaker of the House...so learning all around)
Voted and respected o/
Party Vice Presidents aren't empowered to nominate people under the rules. Contacting him would've been pointless unless he lives next door to wigibob.
it's not you that screwed up, wigibob it's the system.
As I said elsewhere, I believe that all Congressmen should be able to stand for Speaker, whether they have been nominated or not.
(you could have PPs vetoing someone from their party maybe but all should be able to put themselves forward).
Having nominations close the day before Congressmen even know they are elected is silly.
Also, PPs should be given more than 24hrs to either nominate a candidate(s) or veto a candidate - 24 hrs is not long enough for PPs to get a proper chance to vote or consider with their party something important.
oh god sven...
no, he screwed up.
you folks have a weird Speaker nom system. Should be revised.

failed...
Well done for admitting it and saying sorry, Wigibob. Even though I don't think you were really to blame for this little mishap, it was very good of you to apologise.
Everyone saying you didn't screw up is wrong, you screwed up...so you got that part right.
I'm not against changing it to opening nominations on the Congress boards on the 26th, but under the current rules (which aren't a state secret), this is how it works.
All the people whinging, especially those in Congress, can either formally propose and/or support a change to the system, or shut up about it.

+respect to you for admitting your mistake.
I agree with Pfeiffer, reform the law if you don't like and STOP whining.
Better to admit mistakes. You did it (alas your brothers in arms just blame others). You are cool.
Yup,respect for the admission
