North and Central American Analysis - Day 2456

Day 2,456, 03:51 Published in Cuba United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

Since the addition of Cuba into eRepublik there are now 4 countries in North and Central America, Canada, USA, Cuba and Mexico. In the future there will be several wars between these countries, like there is currently one between USA and Canada. How do these countries compare though? This article gives you the details...

Positioning and Regions

Below is the current map of North and Central America. As you can see USA is currently attempting to occupy Canada as they are winning the war. USA are also in control of Cuba, except for one region (Western Cuba) which cannot be attacked due to the protection the admins granted on that region, but that protection will expire in just over a month. Mexico is managing to hold on the most of their core regions but is in the middle of a resistance war to free their region Oaxaca from Colombia, the South American country.

The current situation on the map.

The number of regions held by each of these countries is low (except for the USA). Cuba only holds one of their regions, while Canada has 11 regions at this moment. Mexico only has 6 regions, but has less core regions than Canada and USA. The USA holds an impressive 62 regions, but a majority of those are core regions as the admins decided to give them a lot of core regions. These numbers will shift around a lot over the next few days as all of these countries except Cuba are participating in wars.

Citizens and Allies

Based on the number of citizens each country has it becomes clear that the USA is the superpower of the region with almost 5000 citizens. In fact, they have more citizens then Mexico, Canada and Cuba combined who each have roughly 2000, 1000 and 300 respectively. Although, the average level of these countries also changes. Cuba has the highest average level of 31, Canada follows with 29, USA has an average of level 26 while Mexico is far behind with an average level of 19. This means a greater proportion of Mexico's citizens will be fighting in divisions 1 and 2 in comparison to all of the other countries while Cuba is most likely to struggle in those divisions. USA's high population and a decent average citizen level means it will have many fighters in all divisions and will be able to challenge the other 3 countries in the area.

When in a battle, the citizens of a country will not be fighting alone as they will have allies to help. Even though it has the most citizens to defend itself, USA has also chosen to have the most MPP's of all countries in the region with 16 MPP's. But this may be down to other countries wanting help from USA who are very strong. They are also one of three members of the alliance Pacifica (which includes Russia and Latvia). Mexico and Canada both do have many MPP's as well, with Mexico having 14. This may be down to being in a larger alliance such as Aurora but they have signed MPP's with other countries such as USA. Canada is a member of LETO so has 11 MPP's. Cuba is a new country who is yet to join any alliance so sits far down on 1 MPP which they signed with Chile - but this will expire shortly.
