My thoughts on EFTS

Day 1,028, 17:09 Published in Ireland Ireland by Anthony Colby

Hello everyone.
It occurs to me as I write this article that because I am on the east coast of the United Sates that most of the RL Irish citizens who read my articles are probably asleep by now, or at least you should be. I still have a few hours to go before I sleep so this is when I can get this stuff done.

I wanted to give all of you who will be voting for the Party President of the Economic Free Thinkers Society and all of the rest of the citizens of Ireland some idea as to what I am planning to do if I am lucky enough to win on the 15th.

Well to be honest I don't know what I am planning to do. I don't have major plans for the society. The plans for the party were set forth before I got there. I will keep the same direction for the society. I don't see that if elected the society will be "mine". The members are the owners. Not me. It is my job to run the society the way it was created. It is not mine to change.

The Economic Free Thinkers Society was created by moomoohead and Nogin the Nog. I wont' go into a large explanation as to what the society is since you can find that out on our Wiki page or by going to our forum.

To put it simply the society is a group of people from all economic philosophies that want to work together to try to improve the economy of Ireland instead of getting nowhere with the same old party politics and infighting. All are welcome and debate is encouraged since the more ideas we can get the more options we will have to try to get the economy of Ireland working for the people of Ireland. We are politically in the center. All ideas are welcome. You don't even have to leave your party to come and work with us. As long as the best interest of Ireland is your goal then we will listen. We will not all agree at all times. That is obvious. But your ideas and philosophy will be respected even if not agreed with.

I will do my best to continue this direction of our group. I don't like to use the word party but technically by game rules we are one. I like to see us as moomoohead once said. I see us as more of a "think tank" that is trying to make Ireland better. I will do my best to live up to this ideal.

Thank you
