Recently, our Congress has been debating over whether we should become allies with more people. Some want eIreland, some want ePoland. Some want the ePhillipines, some don't want anymore.
So this is what I have written about my thoughts on this issue:
I am finding that some people want to have alliances to increase our relations with some nations, and some want to increase the battles and protection our country needs. Therefore, I think it would be important to analyze our situation first. What do we need as of now? Battles and protection or more friends?
For me, I think right now, we don't really need to get more friends, as there is no threat really showing itself yet. I think it's more important to focus on allies who can bring us battles and protection, such as eMacedonia. By allying ourself with eMacedonia, we are also increased our good relations, which is a double win. So perhaps, we should find allies that achieve both needs, or just one, depending on what the Belgian people feel most crucial.
So, what do you think eBelgium should do? Should we just remain "neutral" as always and not engage in a web of alliances? Or should we ally ourselves with more smaller nations who have shown generosity to us in the past? Or... should we ally ourselves with stronger more powerful nations who can protect us as well as give us daily battles?

Not necessarily ally with smaller countries, but return what they have given us many times over. Increase our relations and friendship with these countries who continue to support us.
It's also nice to fight a little. It gets boring just working and training. Plus, by making random little alliances, our powerful reputation can grow until all of eEurope fears the mighty nation of eBelgium.
It's difficult because both propossals have good ideas.
Personally I see the best in a ally with eMacadonie and ePoland.
Problem is that eBelgium has no strength at all, so pretty useless for foreign countries to sign a MPP with us. It's more a bargain.
You might find the Turkey-Greece, Croata-Serbia or Hungary-Romania wars useful as they are eternal, so would give a good chance to rank up. It might be possible to get cheaper MPPs by promising only to MPP one country at a time, that way they get Belgium's full damage. Having all of your damage may be preferable to having 20% of the damage of a larger country with 5 MPP wars to fight in. That might sell it for you.
