tonight we will start with our Captain: xstr



Tell us a little about yourself...


-Thank you for your attention Ladies and Gentlemen,
my name is xstr and I am the Captain of IHA.

-I was unemployed in the beginning of 2009 and I read an article in the online magazin index.hu, so I am a member of the famous Index 1 generation. This was one of the first and greatest baby-boom of the history of erepublik, this ensured the strength and dominance of Hungary in the last couple of years.

-I picked the raw material skill as a worker and after leaving the companies of the Social Ministry I got a job offer from China in an iron mine (from Shaok), Hungary at the time did not have any high raw material region so most baby boomers were asked to leave for foreign lands. A couple of months later I moved to Indonesia, and got in contact with the Indo-Hungarian Alliance Party and later the org. I joined the military unit around the famous battles in and around Karnataka. If my memory serves well I was there at Andra Pradesh when we stopped the Romanian Army. Those were the good times, folks!

-The only time I left the unit was when I was elected into the Hungarian Congress and became the Minister of Economy for Hungary. With my leadership we established a Bank to issue loans, the Hungarian Gold reserves and a newspaper for economic affairs (the paper is still around). After Shaok lost the election against Kampec, I stayed for a while with the MHP (Magyar Hazafiak Partja) to be a congressman, but bored with it and returned to Indonesia.

What do you think about erep economic modul? You have q5 factorys, haven’t you?

-Yes I have, but that’s a funny story. I didn’t really work for it too hard, around 2010 there was an FB craze with MW (I am sure you know what I’m talking about), and I invited all my contacts into Erep and one of them became a big spender and 10% of that gold bought me factories and Lana for a long time. In fact it bought factories for IHA as well because I donated a chunk of it to the unit. On the other hand the mechanisms are not really rewarding, a Q5 tank company cost about 200k IDR if you buy it at a half price deal and with 5 workers 100 IDR profit per day (very optimistic) you are at the money after more than a year, in reality probably 2-3 years, that’s obviously not sustainable. So all Q5 company owners “roll” their workforce so no-one has a permanent job and the owners diminish each others profit effectively working for nothing. Just check the price difference between 20 Q5 tanks and a 1000 raw + 1 salary.
So there is clearly a lot to do in the economics module. The only reason I have these companies is to pay for Lana and not to spend the gold hoping for a better economic system.

I have 10 workers in the Q5 companies and I work in the rest of my companies myself, the remaining part of the wellness goes on fighting, I always fight with Q5 weapons and spare the bars and bazookas for BHs. I usually log in during the days from my mobile so I do not lose any wellnesses due to the 550 limit.

Ok... you have near 8k str (and National Force *😉 is it simple to get a BH?

-Not at all, you have to look for the right battle otherwise a 10k+ easily pushes you out from the top, and go in with a bunch of bazookas at the first minute, I go around 700k-800k to make it expensive for anyone who wants to challenge me. Despite that I am regullarly attacked, once a poor Bulgarian beginner in a nameless Indian-Chinese RW went with me until I had 1.9 million. Probably he thought the quote in the “About me” section “1million+ influence in bazookas” is an empty bragging. He was wrong...
Anyway, that was probably foolish but I got BH+CH which is ok I think.

You are a captain in IHA, and that means responsibility.

-I do the captaincy for only about a month, I went for the position because I usually check the situation from my phone a couple of times a day, so I can set the daily mission if the battle expires or else. I usually choose battles which are important for Indonesia, and later the day I set an RW so our weaker members can finish their missions as well, while I get up before day change, I set the mission in the morning as well, so if anyone has some killing to do will have a chance.

One of our slogen:”Erep time 13:00 watch out!!!! We are comming” How do you feel about this?

-I initiated a “common fight” like in the good ole’ times in V1, for community spirit. At 22:00 CET, after recognising that most of our soldiers are middle aged fathers in RL and the only free time we have when our children are sleeping (I haven't counted but among the 21 of us there are probably 19 kids and a couple of grandchildren).

Anything else?

-Nothing really, I tried most things in Erep and I think the company of the IHA soldiers is the best thing I found. I will keep on playing in the near future and I hope for some improvements in the game for V3 (or V4 I lost count). See you on the battlefield.
