Join the new world

Greetings,

I have fallen behind in transparency this month and will need to start off with an apology on that. However that doesn't mean I haven't done anything this month and in this newsletter I hope to give you an idea of what exactly that is.

Congress-

A disappointment to say the least. It would be acceptable to say that there are limitations in Australia in finding an acceptable amount of candidates in all countries. We had 8 candidates, all elected, but we were aiming for 10. That being said, we did well with getting the highest amount of votes in the election which is reassuring to see and that our vision is being looked at favourably. After much messaging around I've realised there isn't much appetite for change in the Senate system and I don't have the time or will currently to do it on my own and I am looking for partisan support in this part. With the current immigration reforms on the table I hope this will, perhaps, change that.


CP-

Another disappointment. Before the PP's I had a couple of good KHMC people I would have liked to have seen run which is why I made an ambitious announcement to run another KHMC candidate after Ilene left. However none were available to run this month which led me to scramble for a viable candidate.

Dil was eventually decided on after talks with some elders of other parties but there are concerns over his activity and we will be watching this closely, as well as offering our support.

Immigration

The ambitious Stojke89 is attempting to put through some immigration reforms to the Senate. I commend him for his attempt to reform how we accept citizens, however, I do have some concerns.

The Immigration Minister continued the tradition of a thread of PP's or their representatives to approve citizenship's. The Minister laid forward his plans for the reform, but unfortunately at this time, the KHMC will NOT be accepting them and KHMC Senators are instructed not to accept citizenships in any other way than what is currently being done.

We will work towards finding a way through this impasse, but nothing will go ahead until something different is put forward.

Future-

The PP's are coming up in less than a week. My plans for the coming month is to contend again for the position of Party President. I feel I have work and unfinished business and hope I will be given another month by the party to keep going on.
