JC4CP? (Action!)

Day 3,542, 13:36 Published in USA USA by Jimmy Cincinnati

Congress:

A beeping sound alerts me to some new messages. I blunder blindly through the darkness and strike my toe on the bedpost. After shouting a few profanities, I limped over to the computer to see what's the deal.
A Natural Enemy proposal has been made against eUkraine. My Congressional delegation wasn't consulted. So, I get on the congress channel to ask what's up. I see that someone has already asked this and they were told that we don't need a reason.
This is unacceptable. As a member of congress, I demand to see what the provocation was. I won't support bullying..
I announced this to them and let me tell you; the response was not very politically correct. 😉

Here's how I've vote😛
On the Congressional Budget; I voted, "No." We are still waiting on updates from the CBO.
On the Mutual Protection Pact with eGreece, I voted "Yes."
On the Mutual Protection Pact with eArgentina, I voted "Yes."
On the Natural Enemy Proposal against eSerbia, I voted, "Yes."
I saw it as an opportunity. I believe their civil war was a drain on resources. They recently signed an MPP that could lose them some allies. Many regions that are eSerbia's historical enemies began to reappear on the map. The dictator's failed NE proposal against us was a sign of incompetence and justifiable provocation.
I'm sure I'll take criticism for this. That's the price for free press.
On the natural enemy proposal with eUkraine, I voted, "No."

George Armstrong Custer Press Corps:

WHPR
Max is going to interview cabinet members and publish in the WHPR.
I'll write the state of the union adress.
D-money could write some demoralizing things about or enemy.
SColbert could write about the contributions of our glorious regime.

DoCA Newsletter
Commie can publish. He could include his straw polls and movie night. Maybe, write updates from our daily discussions.
Eddie has volunteered to assist with DoCA. He's got quite a bit of technical savvy. That might be useful for reaching the new citizens, because I'm a noob.

DoD Paper
Chriscoded is going to publish the DoD paper. He will also be in the NSC. He shows a lot of interest in the war module and I want him to see how we do it.

Foreign Affairs Ministry/ F.A.M.

Wild Owl is director of the immigration department.
Yui the chosen is Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Komeko uses multiple languages and has started a discord server for people with left thinking ideologies. He's also the Secretary of Citizens Affairs.
Garmr speaks multiple languages and may have advice for us.
Pierre Speaks a few languages and has experience with diplomacy.
WhydoIbotherToo is the Defense minister. He's also the guy with the pointiest stick.
We'd be including some foreign ministers. So, we will have some updates from some of our allies for publishing. We also need them for publishing in other countries without spending on it.

So far;
The first thing I introduced was the eUS discord channel.
Secondly, I proposed that we include our allies in the NSC thread. This would cut a lot of red tape and speeds up our planning phase.
Third, I made a proposal to publish in some other countries and invite them to invest here. It would have two benefits;
#1. It would reduce the tax burden on our citizens and provide more capital to the government.
#2. Having more holdings gives us an increase in security. More people would have an incentive to defend us against an invasion.

War Council:

I couldn't call it the NSC. It's trade marked for PotUS.
I started a thread with our top MU commanders.
I was waiting on a couple people to accept friend requests, but I started with all the people I knew.
We discussed inviting some of our allies to be in the thread.
No battle tactics were discussed.

DoCA:

We've got a catalogue of templates for the orgs. So, we'll be working on presentations. Melissa Rose has been a lot of help.
Komeko will get some straw polls published, in order to serve the community better.
There's a gaming night and a movie night. Details will be coming, soon.
We will need to pass a budget for BU2SU.
Hopefully, we can see some updates from our allies, that many of you have been craving.

Note:
Still more work to be done. If there's anything else you can suggest, let me know in the comments.
