It's YOUR vote.
Hampton H. Hampton
Good Morning.
This game has seen a lot of elections, some big, some small. Most of them have been pointless. When voting for PotUS that person is typically predetermined and the election is simply a formality. Congress elections are the same. They have the same people running in the same parties that are almost always the same parties. We had the PTO’s and ATO’s which prompted some people to spend tons of money buying votes, happens for PP elections too, sometimes. But by and large elections are formalities.
Until this month.
This is, by far, one of the biggest elections in recent times. In this election you can REALLY make your vote count, you can make your vote have meaning. In this election you are not only voting for people or parties, but you are voting specifically for your money.
The Feds and the Black Sheep party have vowed to lower the work tax to 8%, still too high in my opinion, but it’s a step in the right direction and a great start to getting it to where it needs to be. The other parties have said they will follow the status quo of 10%. Back in the day a law was passed to raise taxes to 10% to fund a war chest of sorts with that amount set a t 10 million. That amount is currently 10 million and thusly the law was repealed, except the tax was not. Why?
The regime thinks you are all suckers, that’s why. They feel you are used to paying 10% and, in fact, that you love paying that much, so they want to keep it there. So in this election YOU have the opportunity to show the ruling class that you are not a sucker, that you value the money that you work hard for and that you would like to keep that money and make it work for you, not them.
A vote for the Feds or the Black Sheep party is not just a vote for that party or those people it is, in fact, literally a vote to lower taxes. Forget the parties, forget the people, forget the gray areas, and focus simply on that. This election is black and white. 10% tax or 8% tax, that’s it, bottom line.
This election is your chance, citizens of The United States Of America, to stand up and shout into the face of the ruling regime that this is YOUR country and that this is YOUR money and it’s all going to be run the way YOU want it.
This is the United States of America, home of the Free, prove you are free and speak up for yourselves Americans.

I think the thing is that if we lowered the taxes to 8% we'd burn through those 10 million war chests. It follows that we need to decrease spending in order to keep a sulprus and/or stop a deficit that'll cause us to go bankrupt.
On a side note, why 8%? I was under the impression the claim for lower taxes is that other countries, with less citizens have less taxes and they work out fine, thus we could do the same.
I know 8% is a very 'popular' change, but why stop at 8? What's the logical reasoning behind 8% and not 6%, for example? Did anyone bother doing the math to end up with the conclusion that 8% is the ultimate tax rate?
I would love for it to 6%, but going to 8% will correct your first paragraph. With a a small cut we can easily learn how to decrease the spending and cut the budget WITHOUT touching the war chest.
Dropping the tax rate too low too fast would be bad. We would loose too much money to quickly. Someday maybe 6%, It used to be 6% before it shot right up to 10%, so 8% is the "reasonable middle ground" that many feel can be agreed upon. No math on it, just some common sense figuring.
I'm not sure that's how taxes are supposed to be handled, common sense doesn't really apply when you don't really have details regarding what you're talking about.
I mean, first of all if you're unaware of where we're 'overspending', that needs to be the focus at first, decreasing the tax would lead us to a deficit in a few months. I realize that many people agree upon 8%, which is why i said "I know 8% is a very 'popular' change".
Personally, I have no knowledge in the government spending , where and how much - but I don't throw numbers saying that /any/ number should be changed.
From my personal perspective, you could be absolutely right about the tax being too high, but at the same time you might be absolutely wrong. The question is - where do you gain the knowledge to decide that 8% is a good tax rate considering the US on its own, without comparing other countries?
For one, there WAS a law in place that raised the tax to 10% to fill a war chest, that chest if full, we can now stop paying into it and can cut the tax by the amount that we were paying into it without causing a deficit.
In truth the tax was 6% before it was raised to 10%, and could/should come down to 6%. However, chopping of 40% of the countries income in one fail swoop is not idea.
The cut will force the stoppage of over spending, unless those in charge of the budget are just that stupid.
As far as comparing other countries, I already did that in another article
I don't have the statistics, but I feel if we'll turn the tax to 8% we'll start /losing/ money monthly.
Makes perfect sense to cut spending, if anything.
The repeal of the law is a cut in spending. We are supposedly no longer legally putting money aside in the War Chest. So stands to reason the amount of money that was going there can stop being taken from tax payers.
We could meet current expenditures with a 6% WT, without deficit spending. Things like Combat Orders, and extra supplies for big battles are authorized through an emergency funding body called SCI. If we set the WT to the break-even 6%, any money SCI spent would be dipping into the reserve. 8% allows us to meet expenses, and still have money set aside for SCI spending.

That cripple? He got what was coming his way
Voted. 8% isn't ideal, but it's a step in the right direction and when it comes to budgetary concerns there is far more wisdom in a slow course correction than a complete departure.
Voted and although I'd like to see lower, it is indeed a step in the right direction.

If you vote yes on a 10% tax, you should have to move their communes to the eUS.
