Join the new world

Morning all,

You probably noticed that we have new neighbours across the Tasman after Georgia successfully air striked into NZ.

I caught up with their MoFA, xSteviex, in the hope of getting to know them a bit better.

Thanks a lot to xSteviex for taking the time out to answer my questions.

Could you introduce yourself with a bit of background? So just stating who you are, when you joined the game and how you got into the political scene in eGeorgia?


ReaL life: I am Ukrainian and I live in Ukraine. Started playing this game in early 2011. When admins entered new countries, if you remembering, there was lottery where I got the citizenship of eGeorgia. I was an active citizen with nice experience and helping to native Georgians. Then they offered me to become a MoFA and so began my political life in this country.

How is the situation currently for Georgia and where do you see yourselves in eRepublik now and in the future?


I think, eGeorgia is the only country (of the new) where 80% of the population - are native Georgians and it`s means that Georgians dictate policy. In RL Georgia very friendly with Ukraine and been established good relations with eTurkey in game and yes, we were also invited to join Root where was «constructed» good relationships with new countries. In the future, we see ourselves among these countries.

You recently conducted a successful air strike into New Zealand. What was the thinking behind that and do you believe you can hold onto your overseas land?

Georgians were boring and many wanted war and fun + tournament. And someone wrote in the chat about eNZ. Personally, I was against the war because it is not my policy area. But the war was successful. It`s hard question, i think we can hold until eNZ would be without the support of allies. However, these regions are not too valuable.

You are allied with Sirius and Aurora nations but are not a member of an alliance yourselves. Do you feel you are a neutral country or do you lean heavily towards the Sirius/ Aurora side of the eWorld?


As I wrote, we belong to the alliance Root, who has close relations with Sirius. With Aurora we have neutral relations, eGeorgia with them almost no contact, except Chile and Bulgaria. In general, they are allied alliance to our allies.

eAustralians will see you are releasing a region in NZ to Chile – our long time occupiers. Have you any words to assure our people that you are a friend rather than an enemy and would you be willing to work with eAustralia to ensure we can keep a region in our homeland?


We must be realistic. eChile one of the strongest countries who recently destroyed the eSerbian Empire. eAustralia, like eGeorgia belongs to weak countries, who has small damage, but we have choice:

1. Fighting for independence and be wipe out from the map.
2. Lose part of territory, but to have independence (congress).

When eGeorgia was added in this game, we gave to eTurkey an important bonus region (Rubber) to maintain independence and even have from this benefit, rent 25,000 CC. In the future, our relationship evolved and we became friends. The situation should be sober assessment.
If your country want to occupy the TOP country, when u have small damage and you without strong support. You need diplomacy, compromise and loss part of territory. But it`s in eRepbulik, in RL we should fight for our Homeland My humble opinion.
