Important Information For Depositors: Account Type Changes

Hello t'jelle Bank Depositors!

It's been nearly a year since we first opened our doors and since then we have reached over 6,000 Gold in deposits and we are at about 300 depositors! We have sustained the loss of assets, defaults, Peg Changes and more and we have seen numerous other banks open and close. Through this year we have proven our stability, security and dedication to furthering the financial opportunities of all eRepublik citizens.

After deliberation by the Board of Directors at t'jelle Bank we have decided to make a change to the Account Types that will make it easier to understand, operate and allow healthy expansion. In two weeks we will merge the current 4 account types into just two:

Simple Investment Account - 0 to 75 Gold - 4.25% monthly
Advanced Investment Account - 75.01+ Gold - 5.50% monthly

This change is for several reasons:

1. We have had many questions about what each account does, and what interest rates are, and this change will make our accounts easy to understand and remember.

2. This change will allow us to handle our finances much more efficiently by giving us a more exact number on interest due each month - increasing our productivity.

3. We have been growing at an extraordinary rate and this process will allow us to increase the amount it takes to get to the second tier of interest rates

What happens to those accounts that are being paid at a higher interest rate now ?

Very few accounts will be moved in this process, it is the new depositors who will be affected by this change. If, however, you are behind the 75 Gold threshold, you will receive your interest for this month and then after that will receive the 4.25% interest rate.
