I've said it before and I'll say it again, I use a lot more than 125 tanks a week fighting for Canada and Canada's allies. the same cannot be said for a large majority of the folks who would call us traitors. We can all see the damage and kills for the current week and last four weeks.

I follow Rylde because he is fun and entertaining; exactly what I am looking for in a game. He takes the parts of the game (battles and strategy) serious that need to be serious and has thick enough skin to laugh off the sluggards who do nothing but run their mouths.

I do agree with you that we need an effective Congress if we want change. I am unhappy with Canadians who will take their Congressional gold and not do the job they get paid to do. I will support an active Dictatorship over an inactive congress every day of the week.

Yeah you do more damage, but how much of that comes from Energy bars and gold? Not every player is going to or has to spend money on this game, I refuse to so myself, doesn't mean I don't give my full weekly fighting. :/

Don't try to mix up arguments please. ED likes to say Rylde buys loyalty with tanks while he has my loyalty without any tanks. My point was I use more tanks than my MU can give me, so ED's assumption was incorrect.

I'm not trying to mix up anything, I'm making a point on your comment about damage and kills. Your totals are that of someone who puts more then food fights in, and that's your choice, but beyond what I get in a day and energy bars I earn I'm not investing, and to say anyone who doesn't invest isn't on par with those who do or even sound like that's the way to play, well it pisses me off.

Molly, that is not what I said. I have had plenty of months were I didn't invest in any packs but made sure to log in and empty my energy daily in Canadian wars. I am talking about kill totals for people that can't even log in and do 25 kills a day. We had 31 D3 nations log 175 or more kills last week. A tourney week that awarded gold for kills. Only 15 with 350 or more kills, which is 50 kills a day. We all have the energy for 50 kills a day whether you spend gold or not. The previous week it was 18 and 12 and the week before that it was 22 and 9.

I come back from hibernation and things are the same thing as before, a drunken narcissistic man-child taking his anger out on an entire community. Rylde didn't you shout that you have spent $10,000 on this game over the years? I've spent $0 on this game over 6 years and can guarantee that I have gotten more enjoyment than he has. It's fun how this whole thing is being painted as someone having a hissy fit because he didn't get his way one time. That's the entertainment - watching the hippies cry in their pies and point fingers instead of doing something useful.

Here's what I saw happen: three candidates ran for Speaker - the Whorehouse candidate Joseph Rich, that prick McVicker who basically trolled the country for a month as your duly elected CP, and a French candidate who (let's be honest) didn't have a chance in Hell of winning anyway.

The Whorehouse voted for their guy, because a) he's their guy, and b) the other guy who could have won was McVicker, and you have to be a halfwit with a short memory to want that self-important drama-whore in charge of anything.

Now, instead of accepting that fact that at least 30% of Congress simply hates that prick McVicker (probably WAY more, really), Rylde was singled out as some sort of villainous manipulator flexing his evil muscles to coerce his flunkies into voting how he told them. And this was presented in a manner suggesting that that is somehow a bad way to do things, as though it's not how the country has been run for basically ever. Not only that, but he probably never even did this allegedly horrible thing of which he is accused, because he didn't have to. McVicker sucks, and people will naturally vote against him of their own free will.

So instead of just accepting a righteous loss by merit of how much McVicker sucks, it was turned into a pathetic pity party that vilified one person for imagined crimes against beloved Democracy. And you whinged and cried so hard about it - essentially employing the tactics you had accused your pet villain of using - that the election went to the lesser candidate.

I'm not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse about politicians "manipulating" things, or if you are genuinely unaware of how political business is and has always been conducted. Either way, you don't appear to know what the hell you're talking about.

Rylde is far from being the only one who has ever worked back-room deals or swayed voters to his cause. Every party leader does it, or should if they want to have any kind of political impact, because all the other ones are doing it. Unlike the other party leaders, though, Rylde is currently the only one with the means to take direct in-game action when dingbats like you go flapping around knocking things over and causing a nuisance.

How much do you imagine one of your virtuous pinko political heroes spends on marihuana over the course of six or eight years? Imagine how "retarded" someone gets after smoking $14,000 worth of weed. Tell people what to do, or don't. You can't have it both ways. If you have no wish to "control anyone's actions," creating a set of meta-game laws to do that very thing seems like an inconsistent goal.

The CP and Congress elections haven't really meant much for awhile, as they favor party lines and the blind loyal voting that set up brings. A vacation was due. Every house opens up it's windows to blow out the stale air from time to time.

As for political parties, the one I'm in continues to be an awesome hangout for game players to chat. Still working just fine.

This is a bit of a pot calling the kettle black, as I can't think of any party that hasn't at one point or another attacked every other party (though generally not at the same time). Basically, no one hear is innocent.

I have little doubt that democracy will return (as will dictatorship after it), as it appears to be the new cycle of things. It also doesn't mean that it's the end of the world. Enjoy the game. That's what it's here for.

The real problem is there are to many parties and not enough truly active players but we are forced by game mechanics to keep at least 5 parties alive no matter what.

if i where a foreign diplomat i would get worried. last time they started acting this way ended in oinyo causing a international incident and being escorted away in a cop car. cabin fever etc etc.

Only 1 vote is required for just about anything. We have replace about 45 in game positions that mattered to the people in them with 1.

I was one of those 45 and I dont notice a change in game play except we are pretty much guaranteed war

i used to really get off on that 1 extra click I got to do each day. Dictatorship has taken that away from me.... it's like there is nothing to do now and there was so much more before....

everything rylde does is for his own pocket he is the trico of canada as soon as people gets that he sponsors them from their own pockets they will wise up even in his own mu.

for example he demanded 50k for his own pocket to not fight against ireland. which was paid by the way. he is probably paid by slovenia to attack the uk. himself not the country. so start doing the maths. these old players that was so many times cp etc slowly siphons themselves into riches and thenuses that same money to gain even more money and power.

Canada does not make the funds to be a Trico. I was going toe to toe with Ireland in CO's in Dublin and after we both blew around 100k I said I'd go away for the night for 50k cc.

They offered another 50k cc if I would no longer place CO's on RW's.

I forgave the last 50k cc to start the current TW. Obviously no one trusts you enough over there to keep you informed.

Lets all be honest here. When is the last time you remember having this many battles FOR eCanada. The Last 5 CP's didn't do half what has been done for eCanadian fighters as Rylde has done. Remember the TW that DMV3 did? No you don't remember, that's because he was so ignorant to eCanadians he didn't tell anyone what was going on and when it would start and no one knew about it. I remember the last exile that a number of us took from eCanada because we didn't agree with the policies that were going on. This time I took the side of Rylde. Why you ask?
