Hello to all. Happy Holidays. I say that as a person who does not want to offend or leave anyone out this time of year. There are multiple holidays and holy days and festivals and family time days that to say the all takes a while. Easier to just say happy holidays.

I hope no one takes offense. There are many who through a deep faith or a lack of faith that take offense to often at words that while they are meant to convey love and good will don't exactly conform to their idea of the season.

I sincerely wish they wouldn't feel that way.

This time of year, no matter what you believe, is about love. Love of family, love of friends and love of all mankind. No exceptions. To get upset over an expression of love to me is a silly concept. Love should trump all.

So to all of you out there. My friends, colleagues, and fellow players, I wish you a Happy Holidays. May the spirit of this time of year spread to the rest of the year.

It is funny. I come up with ideas and kind of write these articles in my head as I am working outside or wherever. Once I sit to write them they never come out as good as in my head.
