Announcing; Ghost of Tom Joad, for Congress

History:

I have been around for over a year, this will be my third bid for congress and I believe that I've paid my dues.

1.I was part of the A.T.O. effort which secured We the People.

2.I have participated in several ATO efforts and coordinated a couple, myself.

3.I have served on the NSC, to coordinate our war effort.


Goals:

1.I hope to meet some people with similar interests and learn new gaming tools. A congressional term, probably, won't change anything. But, it's tough to imagine a political career that doesn't include this, as a milestone.

2.I will check the forum, for information. But, most of the voters aren't on the forum. Therefore, I'll do what I can to make that information available, in-game. This would include, but not be limited to, how I vote and treaties that are being proposed.

3.I want to prove to myself and everyone that has helped me out, that we weren't wasting our time.


Experience:

1.I have served, as party president of three sixth parties;
a.The Party of the Revolution.
b.Socialist Freedom Party
c.Vox Populi

2.I've been a member the Bear Cavalry, Internationale, AIM and Libertad.

3.I started a modest paper and experimented with the media module.

4.I'm the creator of the Rainy Day Food Reserve Initiative and Tanks for Tots.


Campaign Promises:

1.Immigration is a very sensitive issue. If I'm elected, I probably won't approve any citizenship requests.

2.I think that people are better of deciding where their money goes.
I will support lower taxes.

3.I will act democratically and accept accountability.

Conclusion:
I don't want to be a dinosaur, in congress. I'm hoping for a term or two.
As it is; I feel like a late bloomer. I have mentored players that have been elected. I've worked in many aspects of our political structure. Now, I'm asking for a little congress metal, so I can prove it.
