Greetings fellow EZC members. Round 1 of the Forum Avatar Contest is complete. The polls are closed. Not to worry though. There's plenty more polling for Round 2. The polls are up and voting may commence.

Congratulations to Yipsee Fooks! He is the clear front runner in Round 1 with 37 votes and 90% of the vote. This week we have an odd number of poll winners, making it difficult to pair every one off in a head to head battle. I gave Yipsee the choice of advancing through Round 2 unpolled or taking on a new, late entry challenger named Dedrox. He graciously decided to risk a Round 2 loss, rather than sail through, and for that, I thank him. I'm sure Dedrox feels the same.

I would also like to congratulate WhydoIbother for a well fought battle. He will be moving on to Round 2. Both of us generated the most comments with 3 pages. We tied Laiskloom & Gnilraps for the most votes at 48. It makes me wonder why all 48 of you did not vote in all the polls.

As you can see, it is quite easy to get in 2nd and 3rd place right now. The counter reset today and you can get early jump on posting. A little bit of posting can put you in the running and lead to rewards.

Let's take a looks at Today's top 20 posters. As you can see, last week's top poster is slacking off. You can get a jump on him. You got shmoop in the lead, but who knows, he may give up his prize again. Then you got all the red and blue names, which are disqualified. So what you're left with is BritSeelowe in 3rd place with 5 posts for the first day. Certainly any one of you can beat that if you tried.

Thanks for the votes EZ. I know it's hard not to vote for a steel clad post-apocalyptic warrior. The truth is that the steel armor holds in my Yipsee love handles. It's slimming AND it doesn't chafe . wink wink nod nod say no more saaayy no more.
