Hello everybody , I'm Gheeg and this is my first article in eRepublik so I wanted to present something interesting for all the players in eRepublik , the article is about the Albanian Noble Families.

Familja Kastrioti u bë një familje fisnike në kohën mesjetare. Dinastia Kastrioti ka origjinë nga regjioni i Dibrës Shqiperi . Pal Kastrioti i pari i kësaj familje kishte raporte të mira me Republiken e Venecias , me Më e Napolit dhe me Papën.

Antari i parë i Kastriotëve ishte Pal Kastrioti i cili me kalorësit e tij shqiptarë ndihmonte aleancën e krishterë në betejën e Kosovës (1389) kundër osmanëve. Ai nuk ka mbijetoi gjatë betejës . Djali i tij Gjon Kastrioti ( 1437), babai i Skënderbeut, zgjeruar territorin e zotërimet e tij, por u ishte nënshtruar në fund të fundit nga osmanët. Djali i tij Gjon Kastrioti Skënderbeu (1405-146😎 ka qenë anëtari më i famshëm i familjes Kastrioti i njohur për rezistencën e tij epike ndaj forcave superiore osmane. Sot ai është i njohur si një hero kombëtar shqiptar.

Kastrioti Noble Family

The Kastrioti family were a noble Albanian family in the middle Ages. The Kastrioti dynasty originally hailed from the Dibër region in Albania. Pal Kastrioti the founder had good relations to the Republic of Venice, the Kingdom of Naples and the Papacy.

The first notable member of the Kastriotis was Pal Kastrioti who supported with his Albanian knights the Christian alliance in the battle of Kosovo (1389) against the Ottomans. He did not survive the battle. His son Gjon Kastrioti († 1437), father of Skanderbeg, expanded the territory of his dominions but was ultimately subdued by the Ottomans. His son Gjon Kastrioti Skanderbeg (1405–146😎 was the most famous member of the Kastrioti family known for his epic resistance to superior Ottoman forces. Today he is renowned as an Albanian national hero.

Familja Dukagjini ishte një nga familjet më të rëndësishme feudale në Shqipëri mesjetare.
Termi "Ducagini d'Arbania" është përmendur së pari në një dokument të shekullit të shtatë-nga Raguzë (Dubrovnik)
Origjina e degët e familjes nuk janë të qarta. Në shekullin e 15 shfaqen burime për dy degë të veçanta të familjes Dukagjinit. Përfaqësuesi i një dege, ishte Gjergj Dukagjini i cili shfaqet si pronar i disa fshatrave pranë Lezhës dhe një komandant i një ushtrie prej 40 kalorësish dhe 100këmbësorë.

The Dukagjini family was one of the most important feudal families in medieval Albania.
The term "Ducagini d'Arbania" is first mentioned in a seventh-century document from Ragusa (Dubrovnik).
The origins of the family's branches are not clear. In the 15th century, sources appear for two separate branches of the Dukagjin family. The representative of one branch, Gjergj Dukagjini appears as an owner of some villages near Lezhë and a commander of a force of 40 cavalry and 100 infantry.

Familja Topija ishte një nga familjet më të njohura feudale shqiptare në fund të Mesjetës.
Një anëtar i familjes Thopia është përmendur rreth viteve 1270. Në atë kohë ata ishin duke mbajtur një territor midis Matit dhe Shkumbinit dhe kishte lidhje të ngushta me Angevins (Shtëpia mbretërore e Anglisë shek i 12-të dhe ne fillim të shekullit të 13-të) dhe Shtetin e Papës. Ata premtuan për të kthyer nga ortodoks ne katolik dhe për këtë arsye pronat e tyre u konfirmuan nga Papa. Pronat e tyre u konfirmuan edhe nga Angevins në 1338. Në atë periudhë një person me emrin Tanush Thopia është përmendur si kreu i familjes, ndërsa vëllai i tij Dominik ishte një klerik i lartë dhe ka shërbyer si një avokat i Robert Anjou.

Topija Noble Family

Thopia family was one of the most known Albanian feudal families in Late Middle Ages.
One member of Thopia family is mentioned around 1270s with the title of miles. At that time they were holding a territory between Mat and Shkumbin and had close ties with Angevins (English royal house of the 12th and early 13th century) and the Papal States. They promised to convert from Orthodox to Catholic faith and therefore their domains were confirmed also by the Pope. Their domains were also confirmed by the Angevins in 1338. At that period a person named Tanush Thopia is mentioned as the head of the family, while his brother Dominik was a high cleric and served as a counsel of Robert of Anjou.

Familja Zaharia ishte një familje fisnike shqiptare që shfaqet për herë të parë në shekullin e 14-të. Nikolas Zaharija është përmendur së pari në vitin 1385 si një komandant i familjes Balšić dhe guvernator i Budvës në 1363.Pas më shumë se njëzet vjet besnikëri, Nikolas Zaharia ishte revoltuar më 1386 dhe u bë sundimtar i Budvës.

Zaharia Noble Family

The Zaharia family was an Albanian noble family that appears for the first time mentioned in the 14th century. A certain Nicholas Zaharija is first mentioned in 1385 as a Balšić family commander and governor of Budva in 1363.[2] After more than twenty years of fidelity, Nicholas Zaharia revolted in 1386 and became ruler of Budva.

Pal Engjelli (1416-1470) ishte një klerik katolik shqiptar, Kryepeshkopi i Durrësit dhe kardinali i Shqipërisë, i cili në 1462 shkroi fjalinë e parë të njohur deri më tani në gjuhën shqipe. Pal Engjelli është raportuar të ketë qenë një mik, bashkë-punëtor dhe këshilltar i ngushtë i Skënderbeut. Si i dërguari e tij, ai shpesh ka udhëtuar jashtë vendit, duke kërkuar për ndihmë në luftën kundër Perandorisë Osmane. Pal është versioni Shqiperise Veriore e Palit, dhe Engjelli është forma shqiptare e engjëllit.

Albanian Noble Family of Engjulli

Pal Engjëlli (1416–1470) was an Albanian Catholic clergyman, Archbishop of Durrës[1] and Cardinal of Albania who in 1462 wrote the first known sentence retrieved so far in Albanian. Pal Engjëlli is reported to have been a friend, co-worker and close counselor of Skanderbeg. As his envoy, he frequently traveled abroad, seeking for aid in the war against the Ottoman Empire.[2] Pal is the Northern Albanian version of Paul, and Engjëlli is the Albanian form of angel.

Familja Progoni (shqip: Progoni) krijoj shtetin e parë shqiptar, Principata e Arbërit, e cila ra nën ndikimin e Perandorisë Bizantine . Progoni themeluesi, mbajti titullin e Archon (zotriut), ndërkohë që njëri nga bijtë e tij Dimitri, mbajti titullin e panhypersebastos. Familja gëzonte një shkallë të konsiderueshme të autonomisë.

Progoni Family - Kingdom of Albania

The Progon family (Albanian: Progoni) established the first Albanian state, the Principality of Arbër, which fell under the influence of the Byzantine Empire, the Despotate of Epirus and the Serbian Kingdom. Progon, the founder, held the title of archon (lord), while one of his sons, Dimitri, held the title of panhypersebastos. The family enjoyed a considerable degree of autonomy.
