eSouth African Kommandos

Hello all,

Lately in eSouth Africa there has been a lot of talk about our private MU’s and possible government funding (at least when everyone isn’t talking about making sure were not accidentally wiped in the training war 😛). Anyways, with all this talk I decided to make an article on Kommando.

In case you do not have the time to read it, please allow me to make an attempt at explaining. Some time ago the South African Foreign Legion was created by Jason "the shadow" Peterson, Wilpanzer1, and Martin Warmonger with the purpose of giving citizens from hostile countries a chance at coming to eSA. This program was successful and our country got a good handful of new members with great motives and ideas.

Later, the Pretorian Auxilla was formed with the goal of privately mentoring new guys while still bringing in possible citizens from hostile nations. Sadly the unit failed after not having a proper staff to run it. Once eSA started coming around again, the new player program (NPP) was started by SamGibz and operated fairly successfully. Sadly once again, the program fell apart when its creator decided to leave.

In order to serve eSouth Africa’s new players, Kommando was formed. The SAFL, Pretorian Auxilla, and the NPP were all about bringing in new players and helping them grow. We seek to follow these examples, where we can help new players understand the mechanics of the game and what eSouth Africa is all about in a fun, social military setting.

As of late we have gotten some new members who have shown to be great, active fighters and we hope to see more as time goes on. So, whether you’ve been around for a while or you just started, think about Kommando. We’d love to have you and were sure you’d love to be here!

On another note, good luck to all running for congress in a few days! Make sure to make informed votes and keep eSA’s congress full of loyal members, no matter what the party!
