eRepublik Quiz Bowl Tournament

Friends, Dutch, Countrymen, lend me your ears!
It is official: some of you who have commented have deciphered my rather simple-to-decipher code and found that it does indeed read "quiz bowl". Now what exactly is "quiz bowl", you may ask? It is a speed-based knowledge competition unlike anything you have ever seen! (This is not true. You have probably seen something very similar to quiz bowl and just don't know it yet.) Anyway, quiz bowl is a test of knowledge of all different subjects, from literature to history to science to pop culture.
Why, though, did I put "quiz bowl" at the end of my previous article? The answer: this is the cultured activity I've had in the works all along! And guess what? It's finally completed. I now have an online quiz bowl private room for eRep users: http://protobowl.com/erepubliknederlanden/. This means that on the day of our upcoming tournament (more on that in a minute), all you have to do is click that link and you'll be transported to the room. Then, you'll replace the computer-generated username with your eRepublik username, and we'll be off to the races!
Actinide, did you just make a Freudian slip and say that there's an upcoming tournament?
It wasn't a Freudian slip. Actinide will be hosting the first ever eRepublik Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday, 28 Mar from 1000 UTC to 1200 UTC. Please comment below if interested, and I apologize for the short notice. I intend on making this a weekly occurrence.
There are prizes attached! First place receives 50 guilders, second place 25 guilders, and third place 10 guilders. I know the prizes are small, but if this is going to be a weekly thing, I need to be able to pay for it from my wages. I am excited about this opportunity, and hope that it will garner support.

I think it is a bit short-day if you want to organize a tournament tomorrow. You'd better do it one week later and advertise for it during that week. Or do you have participants already?
I'm not sure whether I could participate or not. I'll be working next Sunday. I could participate in the evening though, the earliest 1900 UTC.
I mean, it's a weekly thing, so marketing every Saturday wouldn't be as effective as posting a list of winners at the end of each tournament, but I don't have participants yet, so it's a good ideal

I took a look at the question thing - I knew one answer after 44 questions... XD
I deeply enjoyed that quiz website, it beats drumming up the easy answers of trivia. I got my 6th right xd
You guys played under the "everything" categorization, which includes middle school, high school, college, and "open" (adults who have nothing better to do). This will be high-school level distribution (which is still hard, but easier than open).
