The world is not the same any more…
Humans thought that they were the only sentient beings in this universe. Once again they where wrong.
Things had changed since 15/2/2020 humanity made the “first contact”. Unlikely Hollywood it was a peaceful one. Zentiens came from the brightest star of Pegasus constellation. They didn’t choose a fancy big city in USA they came in a small town of Romania Valenii de Munte. People there were not used to “exotic” visitors but everything went smooth. Tall pale blond this is how we can describe them. They are the voice of reason in this galaxy. They have great judgement and a really big clarity of thought.



The second contact wasn’t long after 18/2/2020 was the day. Athiens where landed in Australia, Sydney was the city these ones were not so discreet. Fancy ship and clothes. Beside their big black eyes they were like us. Australians were really lucky because they were the first among humans that had the chance to visit an alien ship.



Things went really fast after that. The news of our existence spread across the Milky Way. There was 3rd 4th 5th and countless more, 20 years have passed since then and earth is not the same any more. Many aliens live among us now they go tour schools which of course have changed a lot, things that we had as granted proved to be wrong so books were rewritten. Because of the rapid improvement in science hunger was eliminated, disease were wiped from the face of earth war was not longer an option. Our polluted planet was clean once again. Space engineering was something common among professions.

That allowed humans to construct their own vessels with technology that was given from our new friends. Because of that humans traveled across the galaxy and some migrated into other planets. We even had the first mixed marriage 🙂. But every coin has always 2 sides. Not everyone is friendly. The galaxy is divided in two sides. We had to choose one and we did. We are in A.W.F.P. Allied Worlds For Peace.

Erepublik was always here during all these decades. Many versions had been introduced. Well technology even before the arrival of our new friends had rapidly changed. Computers are not like the ones we had. Smaller more powerful holographic screens direct interface with brain and several other improvements like net applications and speed had an effect here.


[img]But the actual change was when the new friends came and we were in one interstellar alliance. People around the galaxy no matter how advanced they are they do have fun. Earths internet was merged with other alien networks and we had access there as they did on ours. Platforms and common databases were created. Since there was no human vs human war on earth and the battlefield was transferred in the stars erepublik itself became from an earth conflict game into a space one. But there was one option to keep the planetary country in your profile. People in the beginning where skeptic about this new version. But it was accepted easily by the other species. The basic structure was the same. Pick a planet and fight 😃. We don’t have to say that Plato became richer than ever, alien money smell as good as human. At least we can be proud that many aliens know Plato even if they hate him like hell.[/img]


Company’s offices are still in the same place but there also department on Andromeda and Pegasus. Tickets were not replied quickly back in 2013 imagine now how it is in 2040… Job applications for translators are always on and I can say that it is quite a mess on this part. From the old staff only taina is there. She still replies to tickets and she missed the time when she had to do only with humans 😛 I guess payback is a good thing 😃. ghishae is retired now but from time to time goes to the office and trolls taina thing which makes her mad.




The oldest account now is titillica. Although that now he is old enough he still plays. A person like him is a legend among other players native and aliens. From time to time he is telling them stories about headless chickens and epic bugs. He has a symbolic place as advisor in the new alliance and he is considered as the only “old fag” alive. At the moment our alliance reminds me the last days of EDEN, our butt is kick all over across the galaxy 😃

Some of the changes that had to be done were about the weapons name. There are no more tanks. There are spaceships take Q1 as small fighter and Q7 as the mother ship. Food names are also changed and we have a new alien menu 😃. Beside that all the other icons are the same. There is no need to tell that political module is still the same 😃. Strangely economy is good I wonder for long.



As for me, I am not playing anymore my account has passed to my son and then to his son its like a family tradition now and every one of them is cursing me for playing this game. But I really think that deep inside them they are happy just watching me happy. Needless to say that my wife is still complaining to me for transferring this “plague” as she calls it to the next generation…



Some people might laugh, most of you won't like it. There are those who will call me naive and those who will call me dreamer. The truth is that erepublik press allow us to express ourselves in a unique audience. The multinational nature of this audience and the fact that they can instantly respond via comment is unique.
