From my own experience, this is my game currently.

In the morning run to Idaho work and then Kentucky etc till I have no energy run back to Ireland. Wait a couple of hours for energy to rebuild run to few other stops return.

So in effect erepublik has become a real rat race. The rat is in his cage the rat runs for a quick bite to eat the rat returns the rat runs for a quick squirmish the rat returns the rat quickly runs to work the rat returns.
