Energy Bars Factory - Suggestion
Dear Readers.
I heard many times about the idea of creating an energy bars factory.
Yesterday i thought it would be nice to make an example for it.
I am not a designer so i couldn't manage to make something.
However, i still want to introduce my suggestion for this idea.
The energy bars factory is a new advanced building that can be built by each citizen. The new building opens a new option in the game which is a production of energy bars on daily basis according to the building level. You will turn energy into energy bars according to the production requirements. The energy bars that produced in the factory can be sold in the market.
- Only energy bars that produced in the factory can be offered for sell.
- The work in the factory doesn't require food consumption or tax paying.
- You will be able to choose how much energy bars you would like to produce.
- The factory can be found under the “Advanced Buildings” tab.
The Requirements (Example)
There are two options for the required energy distribution that the moderators can chose to use:
A. You can pick any food you want.
B. You need a certain amount of each quality of food.

I like your idea, but mate....admins already selling candy bars for golds...but i think that this is great suggestion...i hope that admins will think about it
As i said to another reader, i haven't been thinking that the admins will actually consider to do it. Of course that my table is just an example and the details can be changed. Lets say higher upgrade cost ..

Never going to happen. One of the main source of income from this game is for players to buy gold and with that gold, players would be able to buy candy bars. If this were to happen, eRepublik would lose a lot in revenue.
Great idea though. I'd stick around longer if this idea were to be implemented.
This is why the factory cost gold. My suggestion presents low costs and i am sure that if the admins will think about it, the cost will be much higher. Also, players maybe won't want to produce bars, it needs a certain amount of energy that can be changed and i think the prices will be high as well. But you are right, i haven't been thinking the admins will agree with my idea or consider to do it, but i still think it is important to introduce it.
You are right but if the citizens would be able to produce energy bars they would stay longer online and they will fight more than now.

That was a nice idea but I do not think plato will implement anything like that in erepublik.
That will make plato lose alot of real money and will increase the gap between normal players and tankers.
I agree with you, but i published this article because i think people should express their thoughts about the game and suggest things. I don't think the admins actually listen to me, not because it is a good or bad idea, but because the reasons you've just said.
They could do it but the only thing that I am seeing is to that idea, is they put gold as a requirement to build the energie bars if they do this the tanks players have to use or buy gold with real money.
Hmm, well, but than the "sell" option will be probably close, because people won't sell it. However, if i take the suggestion of another player, they can set a requirement like this one: 10 units of each food quality.

Nah, this will ruin the game.
But, they can do something like this:
You can explore your gold mine once a day for 1 gold, while the maximum gold award is 3 gold and the minimum is 0.1 gold.
Regardless of whether or not they will implement this feature, there is nothing wrong with theorising on possibilities. I'd prefer to have 99 bad ideas and 1 good one, than no ideas at all!
But onto this idea specifically, theoretically, there isn't anything wrong with it. Gold is finite, unless you buy it. So all this is doing really, is giving people another place to sink their gold. Considering most investments take months, even years to pay off in this game, it's just adding another element and creating a more (seemingly) level playing field.

But i really beleive that admins will not do this..Buying candies is the main source of their profit in this game.
