Embrace Our Future: Presidential Platform

Salut madams and monsieurs,

As all of you know, we have accomplished a lot as a community within the last month. Our regions are back; our forum is up and running; our Congress has been elected; our immigration policy has finally been enacted; and our overall activity is up.

However, there is so much more to be done. Originally planned for this month, I wanted to re-instate the Ambassador Program to encourage greater civic participation among our citizens; unfortunately, the Director of Embassies became extremely inactive, causing issues with progress being made in terms of the program. This month will be different. I have a strong desire to pursue the re-establishment of the Ambassador Program for a few key reasons. First of all, the program will generate greater activity and involvement in the Swiss community. Additionally, the program will connect Switzerland with its neighbors and friends - ultimately to the entire international community. As of the past few months, Switzerland has lost its platform on the international stage. After the Circle of Trust fell apart, we lost our voice as a community in the international community; but with the Ambassador Program, we can reclaim our relationships with other nations and revive our weakened presence in the international community. Lastly, the Ambassador Program is a great way for our nation to learn more about current events happening all around us. By embracing the Ambassador Program, we will be embracing our future.

Aside from the Ambassador Program, I also want to bring something new to Switzerland this month: a Supreme Court. Indeed, our nation is generally peaceful and without individuals who decide to act irrationally, hurting our community in all ways possible. However, with a Supreme Court that I hope to pass through Congress, I do believe that there will be greater law and order within our nation. Our immigration policy will become stronger and more respected, thus ensuring no political take-overs; our community leaders will act appropriately without slandering others; and so, the list goes on and on. Switzerland needs a Supreme Court, and with this judicial body, I know that we as a community will be able to move forward, embracing our future.

So as you can see, it has been a long month, but also a very productive month. We have accomplished a lot, but there is still so much more to do. It’s time to embrace our future. Make your voice heard. Make your vote count. Vote Monsieur Guillontine for Country President!

Let's fight. Fight for peace.

Yours truly,
Monsieur Guillontine
Country President of Switzerland
