Elections around our region

Day 1,875, 02:49 Published in Japan South Korea by the tormented one

This article is an overview of the first presidential election of 2013 around our region.

A competitive election ended with victory for Akki, a veteran politician with one of the thickest resume in eJapan politics. Akki defeated Oraizan, another veteran player and former eJapan president.

Akki's goals as he highlighted in his election article is not to re-invent the wheel, but continue the successful work under the former government, and to improve the efficiency of the not so successful thing (e.g. immigration)

Hopefully, we will see less scandals and more result in the coming months.

A tied election gives victory to veteran player mahyun over former president Ernesto Jeon who has just rejoined the game.

I hope they can create more activity for their community under his leadership.

Atracurium, an elder statesman and veteran soldier in eChina comfortably re-elected for the fifth straight month in a roll, he has been the president of eChina since August 2012.

That's exactly the opposite of eRoC lol.

Taiwan has a history of rotating older players to the ceremonial position of president, and this month, yech is appointed to the president position.

The election in eUS has generated a lot of controversies in recent time, and this month is no exception. You can feel it by searching through the most voted article in the game, and majority of them came from the eUS.

The contest is between the Unity candidate fingerguns, and Ronald Gipper Reagan, supported by the AFA faction. In the end, the Unity ticket works, and fingerguns won by ~20 points.

def0 won comfortably against a array of veteran player and will be the president of eIndonesia in January.

This month's outlook

After eRoC's defeat against eUS to reclaim the Taiwan mainland, it is unlikely to see that level of battle intensity in this part of the world in the short term, east Asia should be relatively claim as most of the world's focus is on Europe, South Asia, and South America.

In a medium to long term, eUS's election result may change the dynamic of the balance of power in east Asia as eUS is seeking to join CoT. This may be useful for us.

In the past, we have been worried about the presence of eUS in east Asia is their desire of collecting more resources. And having them here, we are merely replacing one master (RoC) with another, we dont have to worry about that so much, we can deal with them as equal instead of treatment we got from eRoC in the past year.
