eIrish Boot Camp

Day 2,021, 12:40 Published in Ireland Ireland by Irasian

First of all I’m going to apologise, I’ve been meaning to write this for perhaps the past two months but I’m one of those tomorrow people, why do today when you can do it tomorrow.

I’m looking for a new Boot Camp Commander; I’ve lost my passion for new citizens for the moment and I’ll need a while to rekindle it.

Requirements:
Active – you will be required to hand out supplies regularly and potentially answer questions even going as far as writing guides if you feel the need for it.

Passion for helping the community – If you don’t you will probably get bored of the post after a week.

The ability to keep records – I’ve seen the people who have funded Boot Camp chew out previous commanders and it wasn’t pretty.

Trustworthy – You will be handling large sums of weapons and food on a daily basis and maybe even some cash.

Reasonable game mechanic knowledge or research skills - Either you know your stuff or you or reasonably good at digging up things you don't know about in order to answer questions.

Optional:
IRC active: To be honest I haven’t managed to get many new citizens to join the IRC and of the ones who did manage to get there, there were other players ready to help them. I think the time difference is to blame in my case.

Rewards: The following rewards may not actually be valid or may not be fact and subject to chance
Being the commander of a military unit - you get to set the DO every day so you do not have to wait for the Captain or anyone else to change the DO unless the Captain of the regiment beat you to it and set it to a campaign that had already ended.

Prestige – You may be seen as a pillar of the community, looking after new citizens can be hard sometimes but someone has to do it if you want to keep the young ones in the game.

Congress – There is a greater chance of getting voted in as you will probably know what new citizens will need and it is easier to appeal directly to congress rather than going through someone else who may not actually convey your message.

How to apply
Send me a message with your application and questions (see below for questions).

*Note* I will be sharing your applications with some people who I believe have high stakes in Ireland and going by their opinions about who should replace me. These people have not been notified yet but may or may not include: Nogin, moomoohead, RTK, Appleman, Ian E Coleman and I think I’ll end the list here as I’ll be here all day otherwise.

Yours sincerely,
Irasian
