eArgentina necesita cambios drásticos / eArgentina needs drastic changes [EN/ES]

Atrás quedaron los tiempos del Sacro Imperio Rotoísta Argentino, los tiempos donde a pesar de ser un país comparativamente pequeño nos atrevimos a hacer cosas grandes, momentos donde al menos se apuntaba a más grandeza. Hoy eArgentina es mucho más grande, una fuerza militar considerable, pero es muchos menos que aquella eArgentina que no obstante ser menos militarmente poderosa se atrevió a tanto de puro corazón.

De quien es la culpa? de EDEN? de eBrasil? de eChile? No, la culpa es de nosotros... los mismos eArgentinos. Nos hemos vuelto conformistas, nos reducimos nosotros mismos, y nos dejamos llevar por la marea. Todo el esfuerzo de años para convertirnos en lo que somos hoy, solo para que actuemos igual de pequeños que siempre.

Hemos pasado de querer literalmente conquistar el mundo, a conformarnos con que no nos puedan sostener la ocupación de regiones originarias... veo esto, y lo cierto es que me causa malestar... que ha pasado?



eArgentina se niega a reconocer sus errores

No sé si es porque dejan que la política partidaria de siempre se mezcle con la toma decisiones importantes para todo el ePaís, o si es que simplemente no somos capaces de ver un error y llamarlo directamente por su nombre, preferimos taparlo o decir “ya fue”... a donde nos lleva eso? pues a seguir repitiéndolo hasta tener el resultado que tenemos hoy... un ePaís reducido y ninguneado.

El primer paso para producir cambios positivos es reconocer los errores y los problemas, si esto nunca ocurre, estaremos condenados a repetirlos.

Vamos a citar alguno de esos errores:

1. Entrar en TERRA

Me remonto muy atrás con esto, pero debió ser el punto de partida para evitar errores recientes que nos han dejado donde estamos hoy. Curiosamente, este error nunca se aceptó como tal, nadie nunca salió a reconocer que no fue la decisión correcta, todo se tiró debajo de la alfombra y no mucho tiempo después volvimos a repetirlo en una alianza distinta.



En aquel entonces nuestro núcleo de aliados se centraba en una subalianza con Brasil, Indonesia y Turquía, cuando los cuatro países (incluyendo eArgentina) éramos parte de Phoenix. A raíz de un incidente entre Brasil y Hungría, Phoenix termina desmembrándose, pero los lazos entre los países de la subalianza permanecieron fuertes.

En vez de nosotros motorizar la formalización de la subalianza en una alianza definitiva, decidimos arrimarnos a la alianza que nuestros entonces hermanos brasileros deseaban formar con Estados Unidos, llamada PANAM (posteriormente TERRA). Estados Unidos eran enemigos acérrimos de Indonesia, y se advirtió que entrar en esa alianza iba a ocasionar fricciones con Indonesia.

Nuestro liderazgo aseguró haber hablado con Indonesia y haber afirmado que “todo está bien con ellos”. Menos de dos meses en la alianza ocurrió lo predecible, Indonesia entra en guerra con Estados Unidos, Brasil se enemista con Indonesia por ello, y nosotros tuvimos que elegir, perdiendo el que durante 2 años hasta ese entonces fue nuestro mejor aliado... Indonesia.



Ese error nunca fue reconocido... de hecho se reafirmó y nuestro liderazgo se aferró a la alianza. Cuando TERRA empezó a generar conflictos con Turquía los líderes de entonces trataron de tomar partido a favor de la alianza, pero la desobediencia de buena parte de la población a cualquier enfrentamiento o mal trato con Turquía terminó obligando al liderazgo de entonces a sacar a eArgentina de la alianza para evitar conflictos y que su población pudiera seguir pegando a favor de Turquía sin problemas.

Un error que nos costó una amistad de 2 años y casi nos cuesta uno de nuestros mejores aliados nunca fue reconocido.

2. Entrar en EDEN

eArgentina estuvo buena parte de un año sin pertenecer formalmente a ninguna alianza. En ese lapso construyó un imperio, emprendió aventuras audaces, incluso se mandó a puro huevo frente a España en la única ocasión en su eHistoria que pisó tierra europea. Inexplicablemente, en nuestro liderazgo surgió la idea de que teníamos que pertenecer a una alianza... en esta ocasión esa alianza iba a ser EDEN.



No habiendo reconocido el error en la entrada en TERRA, naturalmente nuestro liderazgo lo repitió. Para el momento antes de la formalización de nuestra entrada en EDEN ya existían roces importantes entre Brasil y Rumania por un TO. Nuevamente se preguntó “que va a pasar con Brasil?”, y nuevamente nuestro liderazgo afirmó “lo hablamos con Brasil y todo bien”.... los resultados están hoy a la vista de todos.

Claro, no excuso la actuación de los últimos gobiernos brasileros, que realmente me resulta asqueante y un insulto a lo que fue el Brasil tradicional. Brasil era reconocido por ser un aliado incondicional y de fierro, pero sus líderes de hoy lo han reducido a ser peores que UK o Australia (que es decir mucho en este juego).

Eso, sin embargo, no excusa la torpeza de los líderes tradicionales de eArgentina que nos tiraron por el mismo despeñadero predecible, con la gravante de que en este caso nos ponían de enemigo a un país fuerte que lo tenemos al lado, todo por una alianza en declive y cuyo enfoque es enteramente europeo.



El error nos costó la hermandad con Brasil, el Imperio y nos rodeó de enemigos... todavía nadie desea reconocerlo y por ahí siguen las marionetas partidistas con los gritos de “Hail Rumania!” mientras el país está en ruinas.

3. Insistir en la guerra contra Chile

La Guerra contra Chile cumplió su propósito hace ya muchísimos meses cuando ambos países logramos un babyboom. Lamentablemente nuestros líderes atribuyeron el BB nuestro a multis, y no aprovechamos la ocasión tan bien como lo hizo Chile (este error tampoco ha sido reconocido). Afortunadamente, por el esfuerzo privado, se logró mantener a muchos de aquellos jugadores y no fue un total desperdicio.

Pero eso ya fue hace meses, la Guerra contra Chile representaba únicamente un gasto al pedo y con un objetivo corto-placista y de poca visión. Mientras Chile estuviera en Australia y no nos molestaran acá, podíamos manejar nuestros recursos y enfocarnos en objetivos más importantes a mediano plazo. Pero nuestro liderazgo estaba ofuscado en borrar Chile, confiando en que el país menos confiable del juego en aquel entonces, Australia (hoy es Brasil), luchara por sus regiones y que EDEN, en pleno declive ofrecería la ayuda.



Muchos no parecen recordar, pero lo que vemos hoy empezó a razón de unas misiones de Plato que demandaban un enemigo natural. Nosotros decidimos hacer las misiones con Nueva Zelanda, mientras Chile se ocupara de hacer sus misiones con Australia. Una vez borrados Australia y Nueva Zelanda, Argentina y Chile se lanzaron el enemigo natural, eArgentina lo lanzó primero, atacó la colonia chilena en Australia y perdió el directo, luego Chile ganó el directo que les dio el puente de Nueva Zelanda. Chile luego atacó las colonias chilenas que tenía eArgentina, y perdió el directo... luego vino el error.

Inexplicablemente, y a pesar del evidente declive de la alianza y la poca ayuda ofrecida en el primer directo frente a un Chile apoyado 100% por medio mundo, eArgentina le impidió a Chile cerrar el puente y volvió a atacar. Haber permitido que se cerrara el puente nos hubiera dejado con el status quo anterior con espacio para evaluar los cambios mundiales en las alianzas que ya se venían dando en ese entonces, y replantearnos el estatus de EDEN. El resultado? vean el mapa mundial de hoy en día.

Ese error todavía no lo han reconocido.



Cambios drásticos

Nuestro liderazgo en los últimos 6 meses se ha caracterizado por ser conformista, corto-placista, y enfocado en dejarse llevar a donde le lleve el viento. eArgentina ve como las condiciones se le imponen a ella y no hace absolutamente nada por ella misma para sus propios intereses.

La estrategia de eArgentina hoy en día es “sentarse y esperar a que las condiciones globales mejoren”. Para un ePaís que cuando desea pelear en serio se mete en el top 4 mundial en daño, esa estrategia me parece, cuanto menos, patética.

Personalmente estoy harto que las condiciones se nos impongan, y no que nosotros pongamos nuestras condiciones. Necesitamos un cambio drástico.

Ya basta de arrimarnos en alianzas pre-hechas conuna mayoría de países con los que compartimos poco o nada, bajo la errada premisa de que se “necesita una alianza para sobrevivir en este juego”. Una alianza por conveniencia y nada es lo mismo.



Mientras el mundo gira alrededor de Serbia-Hungría, Polonia-España, Croacia-Rumania, Estados Unidos-Brasil... donde estamos nosotros? desechamos nuestro núcleo de hermanos por alianzas que pertenecen a otros... y ya basta.

Que CoT/Two, que Brasil, que Chile... ya basta de tanto pipipipipipi



Si eArgentina no piensa para eArgentina y aquellas cosas que realmente nos importan y benefician, no esperemos que otros lo hagan por nosotros.

Yo no estoy en este juego para esperar y ver... yo estoy acá para ganar... sea a lo feo, o sea a lo lindo. Estoy aburrido de CoT, estoy aburrido de Chile, estoy aburrido de Brasil, estoy aburrido del liderazgo que no se la banca y toma decisiones atrevidas y que no sea capaz de admitir sus errores si los hay, y de los que no se la juegan por cosas grandes para dejar perder todo en cosas pequeñas.

Yo quiero un cambio drástico... no me basta pasarme todo el tiempo defendiendo originarias esperando a que venga algo y cambie las cosas...

Es tiempo de que eArgentina tome el timón y marque ella su propio destino. El tiempo es ahora.

ENGLISH VERSION

Behind us are the days of the Holy Rotoist Empire of Argentina, the times when even though we were a relatively small country we dared to do big things, times when we aimed at greatness. Today eArgentina is far bigger and with a considerable military strenght, yet is far less than that eArgentina of the past, less strong but with more heart.

Who´s to blame? EDEN? Brasil? Chile? No, the blame falls squarely upon us... the eArgentines. We´ve become easy going, we´ve reduced ourselves, we let ourselves go with the tide. Years of efforts to become the military strenght we are today, just so that ultimately we act small as always.

We´ve gone from literally trying to conquer the world, to be happy not to lose our original regions... I see this and it makes me angry, what has gone wrong?



eArgentina refuses to recognize it’s mistakes

I don’t know if it’s because they allow the political party politics get mixed with the important desitions of the whole eCountry, or if it is simply because we’re not capable of seeing a mistake and calling it by its name, we prefer to swipe it under the rug and say “it’s ok, there’s nothing more to be done”... where has this led us to? well, to keep making the same mistakes until we finish with what we have today... a reduced and mistreated eCountry.

The first step to make positive changes is to admit your mistakes and your problems, because if that never happens, you will be condemned to repeat them
Lets see some of those mistakes:

1. Entering TERRA

I go way back with this because it should´ve been a moment for us to learn from a mistake. Funny enough that mistake was never recognized and sure enough we repeated it barely some months later with a different alliance and here we are today.



Back then our core allies were Brasil, Indonesia and Turkey, all four of us (including eArgentina) were part of the Phoenix alliance. Due to an incident between Brazil and Hungary, Phoenix breaks apart, but the ties between the countries in the sub-alliance remained strong.

However, instead of us pushing to formalize that sub-alliance into something definite, we choose to throw ourselves to the alliance the Brazileans were attempting to make with the US, called PANAM (later TERRA). The US were hardcore enemies to Indonesia, and our leadership was warned that such alliance would create frictions with Indonesia.

At the time, our leadership responded “we talked with the indonesians, they are fine with it”. Less than two months later the predictable ocurred, Indonesia goes to war with the US, Brazil becomes an enemy to Indonesia, and we end up choosing sides, losing the country that for 2 years had been our best ally... Indonesia.



That mistake was never admitted by our leadership... in fact it was reaffirmed and our leadership clinged to the alliance. When TERRA started generating conflicts with Turkey our leadership back then tried to take the side of the alliance, however the disobedience by a large part of the population towards any conflict or mistreatment of Turkey, finally forced our leadership to pull eArgentina out of TERRA in order to avoid conflicts of interests and so that its population could still fight for Turkey without problems.

A mistake that made us lose a 2 year long friendship and almost one of our best allies was never admitted.

2. Entering EDEN

eArgentina remaind a large part of a year without any official alliance. Throughout that time it built an empire, it made bold statements, it even went heads on against Spain in the only time ever to have reached european soil. Inexplicably our leadership came with the idea that we needed to be officially in alliance in order to survive... this time it was EDEN.



Never having admitted the mistake of TERRA, naturally our leadership made the same mistake. By the time we were about to officially enter EDEN, there were already conflicts between Brazil and Romania in regards to a TO. Again our leadership was asked “what´s gonna happen with Brazil”, and again they said “we talked with the brazileans, everything´s fine with them”... the results of that are wide in the open now.

Of course, I´m not excusing the actions of the last several governments of Brazil, whose actions are downright disgusting and an insult to the traditional Brazil. They´ve turned Brazil from being a world-known loyal and unconditional ally to any country lucky enough to have them by their side, into a traitorous eCountry worse than eUK or eAustralia (which is to say a lot in this game).

That, however, does not excuse eArgentinean leadership´s clumsyness that threw us into a very predictable precipice, this time made worse by creating a strong enemy right next to our border and choosing instead a moribond alliance that focuses everything in Europe.



That mistake costed us the brotherhood with Brazil, the Empire we had built, it surrounded us with enemies, and still no one wants to admit it... all you see is the little political party puppets screaming “Hail Romania!” while the country is in ruins.

3. Insisting with the war on Chile

The war with Chile achieved its porpouse many months ago when both countries had their babyboom. Sadly our leaders back then though our BB was filled with multis, and failed to take advantage of it as good as Chile did (this mistake was never admitted either). Luckily, thanks to private efforts, many players remained and it wasn´t a total waste.

But that was many months ago, the War against Chile only served as a spending waste, with a narrow-sighted objective, without a clear focus. As long as Chile remained in Australia and they didn´t bothered is here, we could manage our resources and focus in larger objectives in the mid term. But our leadership was obsessed in deleting Chile even if it meant no gains for us, trusting that the least trustworthy country in the game at that time, Australia (now days is Brazil), would fight for its regions and that EDEN, while in free fall, would provide some help.



Many don’t seem to remember, but what we see today started with some missions from Plato that required a Natural Enemy. We NE’d New Zealand while Chile NE’d Australia. Once both NZ and Australia were deleted, Argentina NE’d Chile. The first direct attack came with no support from EDEN and we lost, then Chile took the NZ bridge and attacked on our chilenean colonies, EDEN helped and we retook iniciative... then came the mistake.

Inexplicably, inspite of the evident downfall of the alliance and the little help we recieved in our attacks against a Chile that was being helped 100% by half the eWorld, eArgentina decided to block eChile´s attempt to close the border at the NZ bridge and attacked. Had it allowed Chile to close borders and let the status quo remained we would’ve had time to focus in the world’s re-allignment, review EDEN’s status and set ourselves larger priorities. The result? just look at the world map...

That mistake is yet to be recognized by our leaders.



Drastic changes

For the last 6 months our leadership has been characterized for being narrow-sighted and letting itself float towards where the tide takes them. eArgentina if flowing into how the conditions are imposed to it and does nothing for herself and her own interests.

The eArgentinean strategy today is “to sit back and wait for global conditions to improve”. For an eCountry that when decides to fight for real lands on the 4th place in world in damage, that strategy is, at least, pathetic.

Enough with throwing ourselves into pre-made alliances made out of a majority of countries with whom we share so little or nothing, under the false premise that “one needs an alliance to survive in this game”. Having an alliance for convenience and having nothing is the same...



While the world turns around Serbia-Hungary, Poland-Spain, Croatia-Romania, USA-Brasil, where are we? we allowed ourselves to lose our core of allies to be instead in alliances that belonged to others... enough is enough.

No more whining about “what about CoT/Two”, “what about Brazil?”, “what about Chile”, and all that pipipipipipi...



If eArgentina doesn’t think about eArgentina and the things that matter to it, we can’t expect somebody else to do that for us.

I’m not in this game to wait and see... I’m here to win, be it ugly or be it pretty. I’m bored about CoT, I’m bored about Chile, I’m bored about Brasil, I’m tired of a leadership that refuses to take bold desitions and refuses to admit its mistakes if they happen. I’m tired of leaders that choose to give it all for so little instead of giving it all of bigger and greater things.

I want a drastic change... I’m not happy by just sitting around defending original regions while we wait for the world to change.

It’s time for eArgentina to take the wheel and define for itself its own destiny. The time is now.
