Disney Era

Dubbing Era 2004 to 2010
This era was so much fun.I am 12 and these shows still amuse me today.Shows like That's so Raven,Lizzie McGuire,Suite life of Zack and Cody,Hannah Montana,Dhoom Machao Dhoom(My personal favorite),Phineas and Ferb,Goosebumps,Are you afraid of the dark, etc.
Then Disney India took a bold move, they made a show that was totally original,Vicky aur Vetal. This move was a huge success.
Hungama Franchise era 2006 to 2008
This was considered the golden age of Disney.Japanese dubbed classics like Shinchan(My personal favorite),Doraemon,Kochikame and Kitretsu joined forces with Disney India shows to form a loyal fan base. This golden age ended when Shinchan was censored by the government and closed. While the front was still held by the other shows hungama suffered a huge blow by losing Shinchan which brought in 50% of the audience. While Shinchan was toned down and aired back it was not able to meet the expectations of fans like me.The jokes were just not funny.Another blow was when amazing shows like Lizzie McGuire,Dhoom Machao Dhoom and Thats so Raven stopped airing permanently ending the golden age.
Independent Era 2011 to present
IMO this era is just sad.It is not nearly as popular as the age before it.When Disney stopped airing foreign shows that were very popular it lost a major part of its fan base including myself.due to the success of Vicky aur Vetal it was thought that more Indian versions would be popular.Suite Life of Zack and Cody became Suite life of Karan and Kabir.Shake it up became Shake it up India.Good Luck Charlie became Best luck Nickie.Wizard of the Waverly Place became JP nagar ke Jadugar.Personally I would like to say WTF.This is so irritating watching India butcher the shows I watch everyday. When I went to Mumbai in summer last year I saw these shows and AI felt like breaking the TV.It is so poorly translated.Disney India lost a ton of respect in my eyes. While Diney X Dand Jetix still are decent I am not sure if Disney India can ever enter another Golden Age
