I would suggest Apartheid is just a red herring and there is an argument for saying whether King William is Ajay Bruno or not is irrelevant.

The issue therefore could rest on the following questions:-

1. Is King William the legitimate representation of the UKPP?

2. Are King William and by his choices UKPP Congressmen a threat to the security of the eUK?

In respect of question 1 -

Irrespective of who voted for whom - King William is the game mechanics recognised PP. However, if the senior long term members of UKPP do not recognise the leadership of King William then there is a very strong argument for not recognising his actions or anything he claims as PP. Historically BigAnt was not recognised as the legitimate PP of TUP a year ago, nor was the preceding DC dominated TUP Congress list regarded as a genuine reflection of the wishes of TUP.

In respect of question 2 -

Turning the clock back to about this time last year, despite the fact New Era was issuing CS passes month after month to Serbs there were many who didn't realise the full danger of what was happening until BigAnt said "thank you very much" and stomped off with nearly all eUK's money.

Now fortunately Congress cannot issue CS passes but the Congressional Committees and decisions of Congress can be altered by who is chosen to represent UKPP.

We recently had the proposal to exclude King William from Congress.

However, the problem here is his selected UKPP members were allowed to vote. This by definition is accepting him as UKPP PP and the Congressmen he selected.

The reality is - if UKPP Congressmen are casting votes contrary to the wishes of their party and with the aim of undermining the eUK then they must be regarded as a threat to the Country and action taken.

There doesn't appear at first hand an easy solution unless King William gets bored and leaves.

I think it may well come down to having Congress removed and the Government enforcing emergency rule.

I tried to tackle your first question in my last non-ESO article. In the end it came down to us having no way of telling what proportion of UKPP support him when we have people on both sides buying votes, importing voters and possibly using multis. A possible solution would be to hold an unofficial vote using gdocs but that is going to come under lots of criticism (plus multis can still be used). There is no way to force people to do anything anyway under an unofficial vote.

The second one is a even harder to judge. Seeing as King Willy likes to select inactive people for Congress a lot of them wont do very much harm anyway. I can't think of any legislation at the moment that would improve the situation which couldn't easily be abused. We could have it so that if you are in the same party as someone who is being voted on to be excluded you can't vote, but that is very easy to abuse. If someone gets upset with Dapper (or anyone) then they could be kicked out, too easy to abuse.

The government could take an official stance, but we don't know what UKPP's opinions are. Problems!

So as you say, there is no easy solution. This is going to be a long and drawn out problem if King Willy keeps power in UKPP.

I think it is safe to say that the vast majority of "old" UKPP-ers (including those that have since moved on to other parties only to return to help restore some semblance of reason to the party) do not see Prince Will.I.Am as the legitimate party leader, irrespective of his victory in the PP election.

From my own perspective, I grew suspicious during his first run for PP, long before AMD's "Willygate" article, when Willy was trying to garner support for his run. I initially suspected a return of Lord London, and questioned him on his previous eRep life, though I still haven't received a satisfactory answer.

As for your second point, I see Prince Will.I.Am as a threat to the security of the UK, if not his congress. Rather, I see his choices of congressmen as a largely ineffective group (with a couple of exceptions) who offer little or nothing to whole party discussions and who rarely, if ever, publish articles. As far as I am concerned, one of the main responsibilities of a congressman is being active - visibly active, such as posting on party walls, publishing articles with relevant content and keeping the whole membership of the party informed of the goings on in congress. Of Will.I.Am's choices, there are only two that I see as being competent on that score and the rest (with the exclusion of our illustrious Party President himself) are only in it for a shiny medal.

Of course, had there been an election this month, then this would have been their opportunity to prove me wrong...

Yes, in the context of game mechanics then King Will is the PP of the party. But in light of how the voting happened with apparent multis and importing of friends, then whoever won the election would so with a tarnished win - and this is true regardless of who won the election. Had Rory won, then his win too would have been tarnished.

I think one of the issues with supporting him is the way he has basically said he was entitled to use multis and outside help as his opponent was also going to do the same - hence he was entitled to use the dark art tactics in order to make sure the correct result was reached. Oh and dispite comments that he did offer bribes to people, he never cheated or used multis or anything *taps nose knowingly*

The fundamental problem is that there are clearly questions to be answered but rather than give a straight answer, questions are countered by irrelevant waffle, strawman arguments or just accusations of being disloyal.... We've not had a "argee with me or you must be a traitor to the party" person since BA although some of Lord London's were on that idea.

One of the main constitutional ideals of the party is that everyone has a free choice to vote how they wish, propose what they think is in the best interest of the country (in terms of congress) etc. Whoever the party officially supports in a CP for example is merely a suggestion for the two clickers for example. Only a few prior people like Big Ant insisted that people must vote for them and do what they want. In many aspects UKPP has been a party of individuals who are responsible for their own actions but will be supported by the party from bullying and harrassment. People in the party should be trusted or distrusted on their own merits.

Never expect an honest or straightforward answer from Prince Will.I.Am. Remember, he has already disregarded two points of his own PP manifesto, and completely ignores the UKPP constitution to keep him grip on power.

So throw down the gauntlet, challenge those who threaten to bring BigAnt back, call their bluff.
