CP - Wrapping Up

Day 3,180, 19:18 Published in Norway Norway by integer syntax

In my first article I predicted most of you would probably find me a boring CP.

For a brief time, it was quite the opposite. I hope one day we will look back on our utter trouncing of the eBosnians as the moment eNorway began its renaissance. This is not an overstatement; there are already (other) signs this is happening.

On the other hand, some of you may welcome a new kind of boredom known as peace, as the Training Wars are going to be restricted to approximately one week. If you have companies, please go back to working them. The Training Wars have been curtailed, in part, so that we can get back to producing. And if you have any questions about the new Holdings Companies, the forum is a great place to ask.

I know others here would like to see more activity in eNorway. You are not alone. Help us grow the community by becoming actively involved in our development. If you're not sure what to do, you can start by helping elect Yanisin as CP next term. Then you can be sure there will be something for everyone to do, since his major focus has been this community for a long time now. This was one of the major reasons I asked him to be Prime Minister.

We have tried to do our part for eNorway's growth and development this term, too. To be specific, we passed the eNorwegian Development Fund. Under this new law, Congress is now charged with creating a new plan each term to use these funds to develop eNorway's citizens. This means YOU. So, if you have an idea about the best way to develop yourself and/or your fellow ecitizens, or even just something you and/or your fellow ecitizens need, please post and discuss it on the forum. Posting and discussing these ideas is a great way for any eNorwegian to be more active and have a tangible, nearly immediate, effect on the development of our community.

The idea is that we'll keep experimenting and figuring out what works. While most funds aim for a specific kind of development through one set of rules, this structure requires us to scrutinize past efforts, and decide what does and doesn't work. It also allows us to maintain our flexibility as our needs change. But this flexibility also means it will work only if we are commited to trying new ideas, tracking the results, and measuring them against past results.

In closing, it was an honor to serve as your CP, eNorway. Throughout my time here, I have seen firsthand that eNorway is not a place for the faint of heart, or those that would look abroad for greener pastures rather than tending the rich soil that's already here. We will shape our own destiny, and be stronger for it.
