CP Elections and Economics come-a knocking!

Day 1,533, 12:43 Published in USA USA by John Killah

A hint into what we have in store today.

Good evening America!

This is me, starting to write a bit more, I’ve been lacking in newspaper writing for a while … but I figured now is a good time to get back into the writing spirit. So today, I want to cover two topics –
1) The CP Race from a slightly impartial view
2) The Economic Changes: My thoughts

So, lets get this started shall we?

1) - The Country Presidential Race

Well, lets state the obvious – This is going to be a tough one to decide. In one corner, you have two time, and incumbent PoTUS, Oblige. He dominated the last two elections, with 62.44% and 62.99% of the total votes for Dec 11 and Jan 12 respectively. However, they were against opponents who as of late, have been labelled trolls (no disrespect meant to those who he lost against). Can he take a large number of votes this time around? Lets take a look at his main challenger – Vanek26. Now, Vanek isn’t a troll (If he is, he’s a bloody good one at hiding it) and he’s got a knowledgeable background. He’s served a whopping 7 TERMS as the National Security Council Chairman. He’s served under 5 different PoTUS’ (In order: Blank Keating, Cerb, Alexander_Auctoritas [Twice], GoalieBCSC and Oblige [Twice]). So lets face it, we’ve watched him take back American soil from an invasion, and spearhead the attack into Europe that has helped boost our economic output. These two titans are now going head-to-head. They both have their pros and their cons, and I can certainly say that the race has polarised some camps. And ofc, who can forget, the outside (or so some say) of this race, the darkhorse (or godess), Aeriala. He's certainly got alot to strive for, with most Top 5 Primaries coming to a close. But he's not entirely without experience. Aeriala is a former CP himself, although of Canada, not the US. Does that mean he'll be bad? No, a CP is a CP. Now, while I will be voting for Oblige, that doesn’t mean I don’t understand where people are coming from and indeed, Vanek would make a great PoTUS too. This is a personal preference.

2) – The Economic Changes

Ok, so the other big story – The admins have finally unveiled their new economic changes to us all, and for the most part, it’s not too shabby. Admins may have actually done something right 😮 (cue shocked faces and WTF moments). Anyways, the first thing I’ve noticed … it’s so much easier to work as a manager now, because all you have to do is click the work as manager icon on each of your companies (They will automatically be selected from then on 😃), and click “Start Production” and there you have it, you’ve just worked at every company. No more ‘Click, click, click, click …’ Hell, it even gives you a running total of how much you’re making! Now, if that isn’t useful … I don’t know what is. Now the employee side is a bit murky to me – I haven’t had an employee since before the different RM buildings were introduced … because lets face it, unless you have oodles of cash to throw away, or you’ve got a Q5/Q6 factory, you’re not gonna manage to keep up with wages. But fear not, there is one man I trust to give you an honest look into it – Gnilraps. Just click the small image after this text to go to his article where he goes a bit more in depth on the changes.

Seriously, click it, it’s an awesome article

A new segment in my paper, The Guests’ Corner will be a special place where people can talk briefly about anything erep related. It’s a place where I can help bring them out into the media splotlight

Todays Guest! – David Wilson!

Chile and Argentina have a rich eHistory with most RL Chileans beginning their eRep lives in eArgentina. Since Chile was founded in January ‘09 they have been great allies with Argentina, despite the countries having RL tension. This alliance continued strong until only a few months ago. The tension is relevant to us here in the eUSA due to our MPP with both countries.

You can get more of David Wilson, and the rest of the above in his article “Chile-Argentine Conflict” below, click the link to go to his newspaper!

And finally … boobs 😃

Keep it chillin eAmerica!
