Join the new world

I have decided to make an early pitch for Congress, recognizing that I am currently in a party that will not qualify for seats.

It's difficult to articulate just how disgracefully bad this game has gotten, and yet we still continue to play. Some in the hope it will get better, some for reasons of community, and some for reasons that I simply don't understand!

In the midst of all of this, I'd like to try congress again. I would be happy to switch parties if they can enable that opportunity.

I'm not going to pretend we can transform Japan into a whole nation again....we are too small and the game is too rigged for that. I'm not going to pretend we can create a stream of baby boomers, because I know that hardly an real humans actually join this game any more.

However, I do think Japan can do a better job of aligning with other smaller countries to play the leading role in a new alliance. We will need to be careful how we balance this with delicate friendships like Russia, USA and ROC, but I do believe it can be done in a non-threatening way. The reason why we should do this? There are some minor advantages when it comes to geo-political influence....and mainly because it would be more fun and create more interesting game play than the crappy merry-go-round of training wars we are stuck in. I'm not saying that they are a bad thing at all......but I do think the whole thing is getting a bit boring and we could do with injecting some mild fun.
