Congress elections

Citizens!

I would like to begin by saying thank you to WRP. Over the past year or so when I have taken politics seriously I have done so as a member/affiliate of PCP. This month I found myself engaged in political discussions and felt like I may be well placed in Congress, and as such I decided to run. PCP are not in the top 5, and I asked the PP of WRP if I could run as a WRP candidate.

WRP has always seemed like a sensible and welcoming party to be a part of, and I have long thought of joining. I would like to say thank you to WRP - at very short notice they welcomed and encouraged me to join whilst they decided if they would allow me to run for Congress; which they have.

Should I be elected I would like to share with you several principles I shall pursue whilst in Congress.

- To 'touch base' with party members/voters to get an idea of any issues they would like raised or how to better the positions of the every day player.

- To push for a responsible Congress by respecting and taking seriously the duties Congress are expected to have.

- To encourage meaningful tax debates in Congress (especially as the eUK is short on disposable income) and to encourage all of Congress to collectively scrutinise spending.

- To only vote in favour of a Constitution if it upholds the duties and responsibilities of the elected wings of government.

Further to that I would like to make a couple of more policy-orientated goals:

- To pursue a sensible solution to the question of a Constitution that meets the approval of all major parties.

- To begin exploring what opportunities either Congress or the Government can provide for supporting charitable works and entertainment based competitions in the eUK.

- To explore ways in which Congress as a body can encourage and support key ministries such as the MoHA and MoD.

And much more. Hopefully a sense of what I stand for and what my personal interests are will help you decide whether or not to vote WRP! What is most important is that you do vote, so make sure you log in and click those buttons yo.

Since being appointed King of the eUK I've ran a few charity schemes to encourage newer players to get involved. Feel free to message me for some free stuff if you are level 1-25 and meet any of the following criteria:



Woldy's Urban Achievers - Food and guns rewarded for: Publishing an article; being elected into any position; being awarded any medal; posting on forums.


Royal Writers: 150 GBP for publishing an article and an extra 300 GBP for any article you write that reaches the top 5.
