Change to Congress Needed!
George S. Patton Jr
Haven't you noticed that the game has become a big agreement fest by and large. It's pretty pathetic. There is no heated debates anymore. People are kind of just like sheep now a days. As long as they are given they're feed everyday they are happy and don't ask questions. A great man once said the only way a republic can survive is if the electorate is well educated and informed. If I were to poll eAmerica's citizens on what they know about the decisions congress makes most wouldn't know the first thing.
What I suggest. Congress members should be made to have reports on their voting. What they voted for and why they voted. This would also have to be done when proposing a piece of legislative. This would stop idiots like Minimum wage change from 1 USD to 999 USD. If that man ever gets Re-elected I might as well move to a different country. Yes I am calling you out congressman. You are a disgrace for using what is supposed to be a representation of my vote on something like that.
I know that most of you are saying what do I do first. Start by asking more questions. Join the
eUSForums. Write topics and articles with questions and demand answers. Stand up for what you want and what you believe IN!

Good article, seems like a lot of people aren't taking the Congress Seat seriously. Half the time, the stuff seemed rigged with the 'backing' of each party, sending in stuff like 'blockers' which in my opinion is lame. Everyone should have an equal chance to run for Congress, when the process becomes corrupt, you get idiots who make votes like that.
Couldn't agree more.
It's a fine line. On the one hand, you want healthy debate about big picture issues. An active, considerate senate is a good thing. But you also have to be careful not to impede time-sensitive things just for the sake of having a debate.
Congressman here.
Yeah, congress is rife with constant agreements and doing what everyone else does. Rarely do we ever see votes that have opposition. However, most of us do release our records, but that doesn't make us less of sheep...
Also, I cant be sure, but usually minimum wage from 1 usd to 999 usd proposals are lulz proposals for experience--not serious proposals.
First of all most of these crazy proposals are done as either a way for congress to gain more XP, or as an end of congress crazy party. There are countless proposals just like that, which were done by some of the most influential eAmericans. Furthermore, blocking is done to stop potential spies from entering the Gov't, as well as stopping the crazies from screwing our Gov't. Furthermore it is better that everyone agrees on something for once, back when people fought over things, laws were passed every month or so. This is just the tip of the iceberg of things you do not understand. You are right that the Gov't doesn't give a fair chance to everyone, but we need the best thinkers to combat our enemies and make sure we have the upper hand.
This is supposed to be treated with some type of realism even though it is indeed a game. I don't care if you aren't serious come up with something a little more realistic if your need experience.

"we need the best thinkers"
I lol'd. Congress is not very smart. 😃
Articles like this are why I dream of being a congressman.
Subbed and voted.
> I lol'd. Congress is not very smart. 😃
True, but it's better then some crazy lunatic who thinks attacking Russia, UK, and Indonesia with full MPP's is a good idea.
>then some crazy lunatic who thinks attacking Russia ... with full MPP's is a good idea.
Scrabman?
There's crazier ones, the ones who actually think our min wage should be at $500.
It's like in real life! If you want to demolish a library, nobody would notice, but try to demolish a McDonald's restaurant ... you'll have riots on the streets! It's a sad, pathetic little world! Good article! Voted.
