Beginners Guide to everything

The following is what I hope to be helpful information to newer players.

The first thing a new player should do is focus on completing the missions. These missions not only get you much needed experience points and resources, but also provides a good initial walkthrough of the various aspects of the game. Once these missions are complete you will have 2 main missions for the rest of your time in eCanada, which are #1 on the list.

1. Complete Daily Tasks and Daily Order
a) Daily Tasks involve working at a factory of your own or at a job(covered later). You will be rewarded with 1 STR and 1 Experience Point (5 of each on 5th consecutive day)
b) Daily Order's are issued by your Military Unit. You need to defeat 25 enemies at a given location to complete. Once completed you will be rewarded with an energy bar (+100 energy) and 5 bazooka parts, which can be assembled in your inventory page to create a deadly weapon.

2. Join a Military Unit and Political Party. Some may disagree with me on this, but in the early goings this choice is more for learning and assistance then choosing how you want your eLife to play out. There are a lot of very experienced people out there willing to answer any questions and help with other items as well. Make sure you communicate with them on the feeds provided on the right side of the main page. (some may even send you some supplies time to time in the early stages)

3. Training - Make sure to keep up your training. This is the best way to continue to get stronger in eRepublik. The stronger you are the more damage you can do. A strong military presence goes a long way in eRepublik.

4. Read lots of articles. This is something some people avoid and think there isnt much to, but there is just as much information being put in articles as there are in feeds if not more. You may even stumble across some contests where you can win food, weapons, CAD and sometimes even Gold.

One person to keep an eye on is Morten628, he gives away food regularly, but randomly. He does this using his newspaper and tracking comments left in his articles. Here is a link to his newspaper so you can subscribe to that one as well:

5. Use the Ministry of Health. This is a program set up by some dedicated eCanadians that feeds the needy in eCanada.

They will provide up to 500 health depending on your level. That goes a long way in getting more fights in and growing your experience.
All you have to do is fill out the following form each day:

6. Job Market. Right now the job market is weak so I wouldnt suggest going through that route. But if you join a Military Unit they often have Commune systems. The way these work is you work for weapons basically. You show up to work, they keep a couple of weapons to cover the Raw Material costs and provide you with the rest. A commune job combined with the Ministry of Health program should provide you more than enough resources to complete your Daily Order each and every day.

7. Gold. In the early stages saving gold can be a good idea, but there are many different views on it. If I were to start over again, I would be saving all the gold I got from levelling up and earning Battle Hero medals. This way purchasing/upgrading companies, upgrading training and becoming more self sufficient would be easier and come sooner.

8. Last and maybe the most important: Ask a lot of questions. You wont learn if you dont ask. There are a lot of kind and knowledgable people here that are more than willing to answer questions and lend a hand. Use the Feeds, Private Messages, Forums and iRC to talk to communicate.

I hope this provides a good starting point for the newer players in eRepublik
