I don't think people are really into this so I will pump out all of the chapters I had hand written so far and end it there.

Bukharin Hails Totalism as the way forward!
The Bolshevik Politician Nikolai Bukharin has praised his comrades overseas for their adoption of bolshevik doctrine into the new and rapidly gaining support system of "Totalism" or Totalitarian Socialism.
Interesting to say the least
Just to note, Nikolai Bukharin is one of my personal favorite Bolshevik revolutionaries in real life, he was a great thinker and Theorist.
Bukharin was immensely popular within the party throughout the twenties and thirties, even after his fall from power. In his testament, Lenin portrayed him as the "Golden Boy" of the party, writing:
Speaking of the young C.C. members, I wish to say a few words about Bukharin and Pyatakov. They are, in my opinion, the most outstanding figures (among the youngest ones), and the following must be borne in mind about them: Bukharin is not only a most valuable and major theorist of the Party; he is also rightly considered the favourite of the whole Party, but his theoretical views can be classified as fully Marxist only with great reserve, for there is something scholastic about him (he has never made a study of the dialectics, and, I think, never fully understood it)... Both of these remarks, of course, are made only for the present, on the assumption that both these outstanding and devoted Party workers fail to find an occasion to enhance their knowledge and amend their one-sidedness.

I'm trying to enjoy these but I'm just do lost lol
where do you need help
I don't understand what these articles are
story
I keep just trying to skim them. I need to go back to the guest one and thoroughly read it
Ok I went back and read the previous articles. Then I went and learned a lot about the actually Russian revolution. This is a fascinating concept.
The Russian revolution is one of the most interesting and important events to happen in human history. It is a shame people couldn't care less.
No, the Great Emu Wars were the most important event to happen in human history.
Remember Remember the 2nd of November
The emu treason plot
I see no reason why emu treason
Should ever be forgot.
Also, is that a game?
Yes it is
What game is it? looks fun, especially for a bit of history buff. Have you read Orlando Figes writtings?
This is like a second Russian revolution in a way.
It's actually really cool. I've lived history since, like, forever. And the Russian revolution since I learned about it from a man with sideburns in an English high school. Fascinating Interplay of politics, personalities and ambitions.
What is this game? I must have it!!
This isn't actually the Russian Civil War, this is set in 1936. The game is called Darkest Hour a hearts of iron game but in order to play the game like I am you have to download a mod called Kaiserreich https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/kaiserreich.529944/
Sweet, thanks. 🙂
Alternate history is more interesting than real history sometime. Years and years ago I got into Pacific General (the ultimate game in the series that started with the excellent Panzer General). The game was crap, SSI didn't try very hard.
But, there are shitloads if after market mods. A group of dudes at The Armoury "fixed" the main campaign. And made a few alternate versions. "Z-force" (where Germany has a fuck off big fleet, with ships that make Bismark small, that annihilates the RN) and "Atlantic Tour" where the USA counters (campaign starts in Canary Islands, UK liberation, epic battle for Indian Ocean in Madagascar etc.). Focused on the military side, obviously, but my imagination fills the gaps.
I will checkout your recommendation at some point. If I goninactive, it is totally your fault...
Last part is out now http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/two-russia-s-2517709/1/20
I use to love SSI and there games... Still remember all the tank sims. But I think alot of us are drawn to alternative history. I know when ever I play a strategic game, I always hope there is one that we can write our own history in
