Are there bots in the markets maintaining minimum prices?

i was told that the markets have bots that maintain minnimum prices. like raws at .03 is this true? and to me that would be very dissapointing. why in the world would anyone make a game that all people do is sel to bots? why would anyone create a multiplayer game where all you do is play with bots? i guess some people think playing with robots is fun. but i do not. and i am venting my upset feelings on this. know the economy would crash without a bot? yes it would!! and that is the best part! prices drop!! raws start selling for nothing! the poeple stop produceing raws! then thee is no food! and everyone stops working and everyone gets upset and leaves!! but what happens then? some new player jons and starts selling raws and makes a huge profit! and then the older players come back and become active! what did people do durnng the depression? the ywalked around not working!! thats what would happen with out bots a depression and a great expansion. then another collapase and another expansion! it is how economys work. and how they should work. anything different is socialism! and being a captilist i want capitlism. not socialism!

Yes. Otherwise the market would crash to zero. There is vastly more production than consumption of everything. If everything was free, no gold would need to be bought and everyone would have infinite everything. At that point Plato goes out of business.

Capitalism does not really work in a closed market with finite offerings. Innovation and a true limit on resources drive markets, and neither exists in eRep. I wish this were not the case.

capitlism is privite owners ship of business for profit. so i guess i am wrong that this game is not capitlist. however capitalism will never work the way the players of this game want to play it. because one major thing with capitlism is overproduction! and then economic collapse. and currently the game makers are holding the economy at the collapsed phase instead of letting it get to expansion phase. if they either raised the bot levels. then it less multiplayer. but more interesting. or got rid of the bots so that the economy would collapse fully and yeah your right plato goes out of business. but that is how capitlism works. wen the workers/slaves get paid to little they leave. so maybe plato has found the best prices to get money from people while maintaing player base.
