Good luck, i remember the old system and how costly it was before it was cut back to Div 1 only due to being unaffordable...i also remember the bfilliant way it was run by Claire Louise where she always made sure nobody missed supplies and she even managed to do them off her phone hours after a major operation...still in hospital.

No offence to any of the past or present marshalls but she put her own money into competitions and weekly prizes as well as regular articles and daily supplies...i don't think that will ever be beaten for committment.

My job here is simple, keep ADF active (giving suplies, seting DO's, etc). Some people can't be replaced, like Claire, Molly, you...
Our country is dying. Good people, just like you that made everything for us, left the comunity because can't se a future or is tired because did evertything by yourself, with no help, or support, and suffering critics by people that do nothing for us.
I understand, but if someone will help, you can't say "its a former shadow of what it was" or "i don't think that will ever be beaten for committment" - afterall the intention is not be like was in the past, but keep it alive.

I never said it was a former shadow of itself mate, that was somebody else. Do i agree with it? Not a chance because the old ADF was a bottomless pit of wasted money, for instance you had about half a dozen suppliers supplying roughly 30 people and they all were getting 50 Q7 tanks each per week for their effort in supplying...Claire did the same work for free. That is the point i was making, not an attack but considering supplies were never missed for nearly a year it will be hard to match that commitment by a single person is all i am saying.

Sorry for the late reply, it only became costly because the communes stopped running and they sold off all the assets, they just wouldn't trust anyone to rum them, and said it would be to complicated. Some of those assets went for bargain prices 🙁
i must have plowed a lot of gold into ADF back in the day with comps etc but I certainly didn't or wouldn't have done from my hospital bed.
now you have me reminiscing of the days went gold was worth loads of cc.
Anyway the ADFs had its ups and downs, lets hope this is an up.
Look like i will leave soon to. and leave disappointed, it had so much potential and was spoilt by greed and laziness 🙁
and now im rambling 😃
