About the agreement of Israel and Cyprus

Day 2,369, 08:11 Published in Israel Israel by Admiral General Mickey
Hello dear readers!

Yesterday, the 15th of May, an agreement was signed between Israel & Cyprus.
Citizens from both sides find this agreement wrong and unnecessary.
Some prefer the military way, others reject diplomacy.

As a member of the government and as a citizen in general, I would like to clarify some points about the agreement and its advantages but also disadvantages for both sides.

Each country has its own interests. One of the reasons of the Cypriot occupation is the bonuses the lands of Israel provide. Israel, as a small nation, wants to elect congress and have its regions free. From past experience we know what long-term occupation can cause. During the Serbian occupation which lasted six months Israel had lost hundreds of players. Cyprus is a bigger nation than Israel, with more players and a stronger military power. Fighting endless battles will not make Israel reach its targets. We may get free, but that would be just a matter of time until Israel will be occupied again. Our resources are limited, especially when the majority of our incomes go directly to Cyprus. We can try the military way and spend our time, our money and the resources we have. But is this the right way to act? Do we really want to spend all we have on battles that will not give us anything anyway? Tell me what is better; Having two regions and an option to make training wars with Cyprus or be under total occupation for long term, free a region or few from time to time, lose citizens and waste our resources? The ones who prefer the military way may say that it indicates weakness. I call it a legitimate and smart move made by both sides.

By this agreement Israel can elect congress, have 2 free regions at any given moment, an option to lunch an Airstrike, an option to make training wars with Cyprus, accept citizenship requests, have higher incomes and make a successful baby-boom. Israel indeed loses bonuses, but that is surely better than nothing.

By this agreement Cyprus does not lose any bonus, it can start agreed training wars with Israel, its citizens and its government do not need to waste resources on wars and of course, an option to take care of other aspects of the game and strengthen its community.

I believe that the majority of the people between us play the game to have some fun and meet people from all around the world. Many of us want to prove that they are patriots as well by fighting for their country. Agree with me that being under total occupation for long term is not fun and moreover, it hurts the community and the country itself. Big nations may run away from this situation quickly as they have got the power to do so. But small nations do not always have the resources to make this happen. This is why the occupier should give the occupied nation the option to have a free region and elect congress. We are not here to make our enemy suffer, aren't we? We are here to enjoy! If the occupier let the occupied nation liberate a region, it should not be taken as a bad thing, but as a good thing for both sides. If you give your enemy the opportunity to get a bit stronger, it may be even more fun in the future as well.

Unfortunately, I have seen some Cypriots calling not to accept this agreement because the occupied in-game lands do not belong to Jews and that Jews shall not be free. As you can see, we are dealing with people who take real life matters into the game, which is wrong. Others insulting the Israeli people for their religion, however it has nothing to do with this game. I can share screenshots with you, but I am ashamed to show them to you. When people wish you death because of your religion in a browser game where religions do not represent anything, it is never a pleasant thing to read. Anyway, I am not writing this article to moralize, I am just sharing my opinion.
