The solar eclipse is coming. The end of times are upon us and the signs are all around us. (If you know where to look.) Prepare yourselves accordingly!





The plan:
I want to recruit you. I'd like to convince you that you should perform a public service in your community. Your friends and your colleagues need you and there is no time to waste. They aren't going to wait around until you find the political experience.
We are truly lacking in good leadership and good political talent. We are doomed to failure, unless our new citizens are willing to be part of the solution.
I'm going to regale you with my anecdotes, I'm going to disrupt some conventions and I'm going to scare some people, if it will convince you of the urgency of the situation we find ourselves in, today.



War and Peace:
I'll have to scrap most of most promises, because there are a lot of congress members they have to approve my plans. However, I can do things to make it run more smoothly;
I'd offer a variation on the current NSC. In this variation, I'd invite our allies to take part.


Financial:
I'd encourage people to publish in other nations and citizens from around the eWorld to invest in the eUS. This would have two benefits;
#1. It decreases that tax burden on the citizens.
#2. More people would feel obligated to defend the eUS, because their holdings are here.


Politics:
I've contacted all the parties I could reach.
I'll provide a seat to everyone at the table and I'll build my cabinet from the sturdiest of character. Seats were offered to members of every top 5 party and those threads will become the ties that bind us toward our collective welfare.


So, without further delay;

Vice President:
Gnilraps would be vice president. I can't think of anyone that has served as long as Gnil. I know it will be a controversial choice and I'm looking forward to the discussions it will inspire.

Chief of Staff:
Annonymouss would be the new Chief of staff. They are consistent, they are active, they have a positive attitude. and they are well informed. What's not to like about him?

Minister of Defense:
WhydIbotherToo would the defense minister. He's currently commander of EZ Company and there can be little doubt about his experience in this field.
He'll be working along with Chriccoded. Chris will be publishing the DoD paper.

Minister of Foreign Affairs:
Yui the chosen one will represent the foreign department. There will be a well maintained council on foreign affairs and updates in the media. Garmr will also, be an advisor, in these matters.

Citizen's Affairs:
Komeko would be great for the job. He's already familiar with the concept, he's active, he's got ideas he can contribute and he's new. He will be assisted by Eddie A.

Media:
Secretary of media would be Maxwell Hanz. He's going to be working with Gnilraps, SColbert, Criscoded and D-money.

I believe I've staffed the cabinet with trustworthy and reliable individuals.
I'll be starting group communications today, so we can hit the ground running. I'll be visiting the Forums, IRC, Discord and anywhere else people dwell. Let me know what you think, in the comments.
