Recently or at the start of our government Rusty D the official and seems about only spokesman for our ghost of a cabinet.
Apparently, some Machiavelli was appointed CP although I can not verify or deny this fact. Although the politics page do show we have a CP I have never seen any article written by him in his official capacity.
At the start of Rusty'd term as CP he did clarify that he drew up a deal about what we called Training Wars with MKD.
Now we all know most of our production lay in Mayo. So as I can remember 2 regions were excluded from the deal Mayo and Cork.
So fyrom could make war in our non production regions leaving factory owners to peacefully continue their production. No wars would intrude on production. indeed i must agree that this was a wise decision. And good arrangement. However the 2 parties apparently foresee that sometimes what they called unplanned or auto battles would happen.
Fine they said they may happen?
And this is where stuff gets a bit weird. One would think that when a government draws up agreement "rogue" or "auto" actions would not be condoned.
No government says if Fyrom attacks us in a rogue battle or for that matter if we attack them in a rogue battle government must complete the battle as if this was a legitimate battle.
So for example if we win Mayo today and I declare a RW on the remaining region in the hands of Fyrom we can end the TW and government will support the war ending the TW.
IF WE LOOK HOWEVER at the DOD orders of Fyrom we see now a strange thing. An action against a "forbidden target" is supported by Fyrom as they called to attack Mayo.
Now according to government we must wait for tomorrow to rectify this and regain Mayo.
Fine but what if another battle is staged then. Should we wait another day . And this is now the second time this happened. Weird how government fought against the first one but apparently just gave free reigns to FYROM.
And how Rusty D conveniently deleted the article containing the agreement.
We are defending Mayo though. Send us some funds to win this battle and keep government in check.

I don't see how anything but the game mechanics are responsible for the attack on Mayo. Managing Training Wars are tricky, and the game is the game right?
One thing though...Machiavelli if you agree to be CP for a month, there IS a responsibility to write an article saying what's up. You don't have to have grand plans or anything like that. If the goals are to maintain the TW, encourage immigration to Ireland and help our Allies and that's it, that's totally fine. Just say so. It does feel less like a country without it's chief executive saying something once in a while, and I think that's a valid point of view.
MKD has a major war on with ARG Rtk so yeah things like the auto attack happen. If you had not decided to interfere with cos and shouts with promises of cc for bhs etc, we could have started it quite early tomorrow. But thanks to you it will probably only be started the day after.

- Mac is active and we chat daily. Just because he asks me to write articles (before I headed to do his hitch at work, which the past congress was informed about, work = less articles from me), doesnt mean he is not active.
- Not one word about how the IA is defending the rights of Irish citizens = misleading title... again
- As stated by others, TW's can be hard to manage, between RH stealers starting RW's when it is not agreed upon, to MU leaders like your self setting COs when there is no need (quicker the battle ends, the quicker the RW can happen, plus isnt it cheaper to stop production for one day then it is to spend cc on COs). This is something both sides understand and will continue to work through.
- HC are held in every region. Unless people say which region they are held (some dont have them in resource regions), the government is limited in the way they can control the TW to lesson the effects on the people.
