Join the new world

So I finally have a newspaper.



Writing my own articles has been something that I have been looking forward to for a while. Of course, I didn't realise that this would require gold until I'd spent it all upgrading my training centre. In fairness that probably represents a better long term investment, but it was incredibly galling to think that if I had upgraded it 12h earlier, I would have had some gold leftover (there was a training centre upgrade discount on).

Anyway, since this is my first article, I thought I would go into a little bit about me. My name is Innate, born on day...it must have been day 1898. My first practical interactions on eRepublik was to be recruited into the USWP, and I have been there ever since. There isn't really much more to say about my eLife.

In the real world I am an 18 year old guy whose main interest in the media is ranting about how inaccurate the mainstream portrayal of science is. It comes from aspiring to study Medicine.

And that brings me on to what I intend to do with my newspaper. Right now I know a little about a lot of eRepublik happenings, in a largely unhelpful way. The only thing I can reliably say that I know a lot about is being new. So for now, I intend to record my observations about exactly that. With any luck I'll manage to write an article per day.
