[WRP] Draft Congressional Charter
Huey George
The Workers' Rights Party bring Congress(Parliament) a firm base of approachable and active members never afraid to stand up for what is right for the citizen and the eUK. Members of Congress who stand for fairness, equality and integrity.
As Party President I'd like to welcome comment from our membership regarding a proposed charter outlining our Congressional approach and policies our members of Congress will take into Parliament.
Law Proposal from Members of Congress
Change taxes - Based on the 'main' forms of taxation.
The Workers' Rights Party policy on work tax is 2.00%. 1.00% means the country is run at a deficit, 2.00% means as a country we run at a slight surplus so to support us as a Country to afford all our MPPs (and extras when required) and set Command Orders when necessary a level of 2.00% needs to be set.
The Workers' Rights Party policy on import taxes are they should be set at levels to discourage non-domestic supplies under-cutting domestic suppliers on the UK markets. It's difficult to set a specific level as it'd depend on a host of variable factors however levels higher than countries of a similar market size/'attract-ability' would set the confines of this level when discussed in Congress.
The Workers' Rights Party policy on VAT is 1.00%. To make goods as affordable as possible for UK citizens and encorage profitability for suppliers.
Change the minimum wage - The Workers' Rights Party policy is to maintain the 0.10GBP minimum wage. This is because we hold a believe that every worker should have the freedom to chose their wage, no citizen is forced to work solely for weapons, food and/or altruistic desires and a higher than minimum wage can be found easily if required.
Country Donations and Issue Money The Workers' Rights Party policy is to decide these law proposals on a case by case basis on.
President Impeachment - The Workers' Rights Party is unlikely to support an impeachment as the CP has been elected by public majority. It'd have to be absolute negligence which endangered the UK's future and security for the party's Members of Congress to vote in favour of 'removing' the CP from office.
Natural enemy - The Workers' Rights Party policy is to decide these law proposals on a case by case basis on and after all the facts have been reviewed and the pros and cons weighed up.
Law Proposal from the Country President
- Mutual Protection Pacts Support our current alliance (Sirius), existing pro-Sirius MPPs, exsisting historical MPPs based on friendship and give consideration to new Government proposed MPPs.
Airstrike - The Workers' Rights Party policy is this can only be decided on a case by case basis and after all the facts have been reviewed and the pros and cons weighed up. With the decision that much more important as it would have to be made to justify the high initial cost to the country.
Message to New Citizens - The Workers' Rights Party policy is for this being kept as much as possible up to date and relevant however again my decision would be based on what the proposed message was.
- The 'others' are not covered by Workers' Rights Party as they are unlikely to come up if they still exist for some... however rest assured on the rare occasion they do arise a policy of careful consideration will be taken as the circumstances for these are likely to be unusual.

That all looks fine to me! o7
Needless to say that we ARE a party with high morality, honesty, open mildness inviting all new members to come, and to take an active part in UK's political life.
Obviously I don't agree with all of that but its great to see another party writing down and giving actual, hard figures on what there congressmembers will/won't/are free to decided when it comes to congress.
One Question;
>>"The Workers' Rights Party policy on import taxes are they should be set at levels to discourage non-domestic supplies under-cutting domestic suppliers on the UK markets."
........and that level is?
actually another query;
You explained the reasoning behind the other 'specific' points but you haven't explained why you want minimum wage at its lowest level?
I imagine your part of the "oh commune workers" brigade but it'd be nice to see why the 'party of the worker' would rather the worker worked for nothing.
Thank you Alfa. I wouldn't expect you to agree with a lot of it as the UKPP have been a fine example of providing the public detailed information about their policies.
I've edited my article to try and be a little more expressive about some of the WRP policy you've questioned. The first question is a difficult one to set a specific level for... unless you have a maximum or minimum policy which we don't.
Yes, you are right on the 2nd question, we are in favour of protecting the freedom of choice current offer the commune worker and in the WRP opinion all workers in the UK.
Thanks for the questions always good to be asked to try and expand on political view points in this new world. o/
Well you're either free trade (1😵 or protectionist (99😵.
If you don't have a fixed policy that'd suggest you are trying a 'matching policy' where you fix the rate to account for the fact that some nations have a +40% production bonus over us.
*The variation in the rate being dependent on the cost of goods ofc.
P.S
You dismissed 'others' are not likely to come up yet only last CP term we had both a DoW and a peace proposal.
?
Hmm, well it's generally just that these proposals are situational and this is meant to be a general consensus as to how most WRP Congress Members will vote.
A very good point, Alfa. Again I've edited the article to include a policy. However we still maintain the view these are unlikely to come up and when they do they are rare however yes the public deserve some sort of policy to assess us on.
Outstanding article Boss Huey and compleatelly agree with all of this stated in the article.I"ve already started with recruitment and will countinue it with that.As far a concerned of communication we have forums and IRC wich could be modified. We promote honesty, decency, fairness and friendship.Good image of me 🙂.Voted, subed,
