2. All Quiet on the American Front
3. Upcoming Congressional Elections

6% Tax Bill Voted Down

Over the past week, the eUS Congress has had a long and extended discussion on lowering the tax rate in the eUS. Many arguments were presented, and two sides were clearly defined.

In the end, the vote failed 19-20. The tax rate will remain at 8%, at least for the near future. Contact your Congressmen if you have questions about this bill, or check the eUS forums here: http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,35493.0.html to read the discussion.

Tl;dr? The arguments were summarized (objectively) briefly below.

Arguments for a 6% tax rate: A 6% tax rate allows the average American citizen to save more money per click, at an average of 400 USD per year. It also encourages more eUS communes and businesses to remain rooted in the eUS, rather than exporting their companies overseas and taking advantage of the lower tax rates overseas.

Arguments to remain at a 8% tax rate: A 8% tax rate allows the eUS reserves to grow at a substational rate each month, and goes further to protect the eUS in future wars and invasions. Several Congressmen noted that even one or two long campaigns can be extremely costly, due to the increased need for CO’s.
What if we had the H&R Block guy…..

All Quiet on the American Front

At the time of publication, the eUS was at a rare peace with all nations. No battles involved the eUS. However, our allies are in need of help in several campaigns around the world. This includes Russia, Peru, and Argentina. See the graphic below for a full list of current allied battles.

Upcoming Congressional Elections

June 25th will bring the newest set of Congressional members to Congress for the 91st Congress. Make sure you cast your vote for your favorite Top 5 party on the 25th. Also, make sure to check which parties are running 6th party candidates, if you’d like to support a 6th party as well. Both SFP members and Old F-cks members have run under T5 parties in the past to gain Congressional seats.

If you have questions about the Congressional process, direct them towards your Party Presidents.
